Not all celebrities have as much time as Donald Trump to prepare their mugshot face. They are caught in the act or by surprise and have to pose for the most awkward photos of their lives. Let's take a look at some iconic celebrity mugshots released by the police over the years.

When it comes to mugshots, Lindsay Lohan is the queen. She has as many as she has changed her looks. Her various arrests and prison stints have always been related to her problems with illegal substances.

In the summer of 2018, Stormy Daniels was touring the USA to promote her book and fame as Donald Trump's former flame. In the state of Ohio, she got caught by three undercover detectives as she inappropriately touched them during her performance in a strip club.

The Canadian singer was arrested in 2014 in Miami Beach for reckless driving under the influence of various illegal substances. A disappointment to his fans, but he didn't lose his smile at the police station.

Mel Gibson is one of those who can also collect mugshots. The picture on the left shows him in 2006 when he was arrested in Los Angeles for speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol. The 'Notting Hill' actor was arrested in 1995 for having sex with a prostitute in his car in Los Angeles. It was a scandal because he was also in a romantic relationship with actress Liz Hurley.

The Oscar-winning actor was arrested in April 2011 on charges of domestic violence, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness. And all after being caught by police arguing with his wife in the French Quarter of New Orleans.

Nicole Richie also has a few police records. The one in the picture is from her arrest in December 2006. The reason? The daughter of musician Lionel Richie was driving the wrong way through Los Angeles under the influence of alcohol and other illegal substances.

In 1993 the 'Matrix' actor was arrested for drink-driving.

In the summer of 2017, the famous American golfer was found asleep in his car on a Florida highway. The police questioned him and the athlete showed clear signs of drunkenness, for which he was arrested, although later analysis showed that it was all a reaction caused by a mixture of up to five drugs he was taking to alleviate the severe pain of various back surgeries he had undergone.

Christmas 2009 was not a happy one for actor Charlie Sheen, as he ended up in the police station. On 25 December, he was arrested in Aspen (Colorado) on various charges related to domestic violence.

Is that Nicki Minaj? Yes, it's the rapper, in her 20s, when she was working as a waitress in New York. According to The Smoking Gun, she was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon (with intent to use it).

The well-known actor was incarcerated in the Travis County Jail in Texas in 2015 because, as TMZ reported at the time, he was drunk and ran a red light despite police warnings not to do so.

The 'Melrose Place' actress' descent into hell came in 2018 when she was arrested on different occasions for allegedly assaulting her partner and officers who attended the scene.

"He was booked into the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on December 16, 2018, on a charge of public intoxication stemming from an arrest by Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) Police," a Loudoun County Sheriff's Office official said in a statement at the time.
