The most unflattering statues in the world

We are fascinated by this image of Michael Jackson in porcelain with a monkey. It is the work of artist Jeff Koons.

The Spanish Princess Leonor's wax figure in the Madrid Wax Museum has caused nightmares for more than one child (and the occasional adult).

According to the sculptor, it is Michael Jackson. We will have to believe him.

Alexandra Paul, one of the protagonists of the famous show 'Baywatch', is posing with her wax figure. Overall, it looks like a cross between Liza Minelli and Betty Rizzo from 'Grease', with a side-order of extreme tan.

But much worse is this bust, which honours the Portuguese footballer at the Madeira International Airport.

Okay, the intention is cartoonish, but this Maradona statue is no less terrifying for that.

Marilyn Monroe was stylish, glamorous and popular. Everything this statue is not.
