The 20th anniversary of some iconic TV shows

This could be a painful experience for you. It may be hard to reconcile with the idea that shows you know so well are already 20 years old... Let's see how many of your favorites are from 2003!

NCIS

After 20 seasons, this legendary series is still a hit. Leroy Jethro Gibbs is the leader of the NCIS, a special agent team that investigates terrorism crimes related to the marine force.

Nip / Tuck

In the show, created by Ryan Murphy, two lustful plastic surgeons are very successful in Miami and Los Angeles, but their personal lives begin to crumble. The show ran for 6 seasons and 100 episodes.

Cold Case

Kathryn Morris was in charge of playing Lily Rush for seven seasons. She was part of a special police division dedicated to solving old cases. An absolutely addictive show, even though it usually had one-episode stories.

Two and a Half Men

The (autobiographical?) comedy by Charlie Sheen crowned him as the king of television. He left the project in 2010 and Ashton Kutcher replaced him, but the show was never the same. All in all, it lasted for 12 seasons.

Arrested Development

The adventures of the Bluth family and how they liked to spend their money were enough to complete five seasons. Fox was in charge of the first three, and then Netflix aired two seasons before the show was canceled.

The Bachelor and The Bachelorette

After 19 seasons, the show is still a massive success. A dating reality turned into a cult program in which a single male or female tries to find love among 25 candidates.

Little Britain

Humor pushed to the limit. This cult comedy of the 21st century was irreverent, extreme, and surprising. Matt Lucas, David Walliams, and Andy Riley were responsible for this hilarious jewel.

The O.C.

Millions of people followed the Marissa-Ryan and Seth-Summer romances, but then Misha Barton decided to leave the show in the third season. 'The O.C.' kept going until only another season more, but it remained iconic.

Chappelle's Show

For three years, Dave Chappelle had one of the best sketch-shows on television.

Peep Show

This was of the first TV projects of Olivia Colman who instantly became an icon of the '00s. The show tells the story of two thirty-something boys who are extremely frustrated with life.

American Chopper

This reality TV series shows us a team of specialists who build and customize exclusive and incredible motorbikes. They gave us a very entertaining seven seasons.

Teen Titans

One of the best animated series of the 21st century. It combined frenetic action with constant references to pop culture. Robin, Cyborg, Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy, and Terra were the team members of the superhero band that had their headquarters on a 'T' shaped building.

One Tree Hill

For nine seasons, we were able to see the high school and university lives of this Tree Hill group of friends. This teenage drama was the perfect replacement for 'Dawson's Creek' and had a promising cast of aspiring Hollywood stars. Yet, it wasn't meant to be…

Carnivale

This weird HBO masterpiece was a story about Good fighting Evil with a dark and mythical twist. It was set during The Great Depression in the United States and never made it past two seasons.

Star Wars: Clone Wars

Generally, the 'Star Wars' animated shows are truly wonderful. In this case, we can understand a bit more about what went down in the Clone Wars thanks to the show's three seasons.

Dead Like Me

This may have been an underestimated piece by Bryan Fuller. The protagonist, Georgia Lass, dies when a toilet from a spaceship falls on her. After that, she is in charge of taking the souls of those who pass away to where they are supposed to be. The show only lasted for two seasons but had a lot of potential.

That's so Raven

It was a sweet time for the Disney Channel teen shows and Raven was a hit. The protagonist had psychic abilities and was able to see the future.

Tru Calling

Eliza Dushku is Tru Davies, an employee of the morgue who discovers she can speak with the dead and relive their last day on earth, sometimes even avoiding their death. Although it had an interesting premise, the show only lasted two seasons.

Code Lyoko

A real revolution at the time, this series was set in a virtual world called Lyoko. It was divided into sectors and threatened by a very dangerous computer virus.

Pasión de Gavilanes

The Reyes and Elizondo families had the entire world glued to their screens. The most important 'telenovela' of the 21st century later returned to Netflix to keep us once again hooked.
