The Wire - HBO (2002-2008)

'The Wire' is on the 'to watch' list of many. You may find it slow at first, but after a few episodes, you won't be able to stop watching. It is considered one of the best series in history.

'Desperate Housewives' is so easy to watch. You just have to play the first episode — one of the best pilots in history — to get hooked. It will be almost impossible not to watch more.

The Leftovers - HBO (2014-2017)

What would happen if 2% of the global population disappears? Depression, cults, chaos… 'The Leftovers' talks about loss and being unable to move forward. This series will leave you feeling like no other TV show has made you feel before… It eats you up, chews you, and then spits you out!

Broadchurch - ITV / Amazon (2013-2017)

This show is going to blow your mind from start to finish, everyone is hiding a secret, some more terrible than others. Olivia Colman, David Tennant, Jodie Whittaker… What else do you need?

24 - Fox (2001-2010)

Real-time action, a chronometer that gives you anxiety, and a legendary main character: Jack Bauer. Yes, this is a typical U.S. show, but is that something bad? We don't think so.

Scandal - ABC (2012-2018)

Unless you don't want to have an affair with the president of the United States, you will want to be the character of Olivia Pope after just 5 minutes into the show. But we warn you, the president is played by Tony Goldwyn, so maybe you may reconsider your decision.

Sherlock - BBC (2010-2017)

Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are one of the couples with more chemistry in the history of TV. This 'Sherlock' is one you don't want to miss. And the best thing is that Moriarty is even cooler than Sherlock himself: We love you, Andrew Scott.

Suits - USA Network (2011-2019)

'Suits' will make you fall in love with two shark lawyers whose only desires are to win and triumph. By the way, it is the last pre-Royal Family show Meghan Markle did.

Fargo - FX Networks (2014-Present)

Although it starts a bit slow, the show still manages to grasp you. How? We are not going to tell you, but the decisions every character makes will drive you crazy… Just saying.

White Collar - USA Network (2009-2014)

Nothing like Matt Bomer in perfectly fitted suits, exquisite models, and ingenuous robberies. 'White Collar' has all of that and more.

The Shield - FX: Networks (2002-2008)

'The Shield' will surely make you love corrupt policemen, hate everyone who's following the law, and question your principles. How come you haven't watched this 20-year-old jewel yet?

Smallville - The CW (2001-2011)

The Sopranos - HBO (2000-2008)

For many, this is the best TV show in history. 'The Sopranos' is a wonderful depiction of a New Jersey Italian Mafia family. The late James Gandolfini delivers an amazing performance that you should definitely not miss. Not watching this show is a true mistake.

Arrow - The CW (2012-2020)

'Arrow' was a surprise for its plot, protagonists, cruelty, and quality of its stories. Although the series slowly lost quality with time, it's definitely recommended for at least half of its seasons.

Band of Brothers - HBO (2001)

Many say this is one of the best productions ever made in history. 'Band of Brothers' has it all: Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, HBO, and a budget of 120 million dollars in 2001! A must-watch.

The Inbetweeners - E4 (2008-2010)

Are you interested in a group of four teenagers that go through some of the most embarrassing moments life can put you through? Then this is the show for you. We guarantee you that some of the scenes will make you cry with laughter.

The Crown - Netflix (2016-2023)

Penny Dreadful - Showtime (2014-2016)

Here we get a fascinating universe that is full of classic monsters from literature. Nobody is good or bad, but everyone is good and bad. Eva Green will blow your mind from the first moment you see her.

The Boys - Amazon (2019-present)

This may be one of the most unreal shows of the last decade and hence, one of the most addictive. You will find no complexes, no taboos, sometimes no underwear, and a lot of gore stuff, so if you're into that, give it a try and dive in.

The Night Of - HBO (2016)

John Turturro and Riz Ahmed fight in this incredible acting duel in a show that hooks you up little by little. Trials, lawyers, suspects, and a story where nothing is what it seems.

The huge impact of this documentary led to the reopening of the case. Expect to feel a punch in your stomach with each episode. Hard to watch, but much needed.

Banshee - HBO (2013-2016)

After 15 years in jail, this guy has become the sheriff of the town. What could go wrong? The best thing is that the protagonist is Antony Starr, the Homelander of 'The Boys'. You can expect this series to be as cool as 'The Boys' but without special effects.

Years and Years - BBC / HBO Max (2019)

This series perfectly depicts how certain politics and ideologies can change the reality of a country for generations. If you think that fiction can't beat reality, check out this show. It's just six episodes, anyway…

The Magicians - SyFy (2015-2020)

What it may seem like an adult version of 'Harry Potter', it's actually a surprising series that is tough and funny at times and has its own musical episode. Just for that, you should have already watched it.

This Is US - NBC (2016-2022)

Heartful, tough, feel-good show that will make you enjoy and suffer with every episode. 'This is Us' is a beautiful show that will make you cry your heart out… If you don't want to be sad, just hit pause.
