A star has faded too soon

Young actor Hudson Meek's light has gone out after he suffered blunt force trauma from a fall out of a moving vehicle.

"Our hearts are broken to share that Hudson Meek went home to be with Jesus tonight," his representatives said on his Instagram account. They added that the artist had always contributed greatly to the spirit of the company.

He died on December 21st

The young artist died on Dec. 21, two days after he fell from a moving vehicle on Canyon Road near Highway 31 in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office states that an investigation is underway.

Directly to the hospital

People magazine reported that the promising actor was immediately taken to the hospital to treat his serious injuries. Yet, the medical team was unable to save his life, the local Police Department reported.

Projects still to come in 2025

His followers on social media honored the life of the young actor who leaves behind film and television projects for 2025. "His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met," reads his Instagram account.

Fans and agency mourn his death

"Hudson was more than just a talent. He was a source of inspiration and touched so many lives with his enthusiasm, kindness, smile, and innate ability to light up a room and never meet a stranger," his management agency J Pervis Talent Agency said in a statement.

Devastated

The letter asks people to treat Hudson's family and friends kindly, as they are devastated by the sudden and tragic loss of Hudson's death.

Short but productive career

The actor, born in Alabama, United States, is said to have contributed to the world of animation with his dubbing work in 'Badanamu Cadets'. He was also part of advertising campaigns for well-known brands.

His credits, including 'Baby Driver'

Importantly, Hudson played the role of 'Young Baby' in the 2017 Oscar-nominated film 'Baby Driver'. He also landed a role in the television series 'MacGyver' and appeared in other projects such as 'Found' and 'Legacies'.

Acting since childhood

He was also part of the 2015 film '90 Minutes in Heaven'.

Died in the company of his loved ones

Meek's online obituary says he was surrounded by his friends and family 'and the presence of the Lord' as he died peacefully, TMZ reported.
