2022 has been a year of extremes. In the world of showbiz, it brought a lot of joy for all the celebrities who had children. Australian actress Rebel Wilson was one of them.

Motherhood arrived in the life of Jennifer Lawrence. The actress had her first child, Cy. The boy is named after post-war American painter Cy Twombly, a favorite artist of her husband Cooke Maroney, who is also an art gallery director.

Michelle Williams, who already has a daughter (Matilda) with the late Heath Ledger, became a mother for the second time with her partner Thomas Kail in October 2022.

Kate Mara and Jamie Bell welcomed their baby boy in November 2022.

Former figure skater and two-time Olympic medalist Michelle Kwan became a mom for the first time in early January 2022. Her daughter's name is Kalista Belle Kwan, Page Six reports. "I’ve always wanted to be a mom and, to me, she’s a perfect miracle," Kwan wrote on Instagram.

On December 10, Diddy announced the birth of his seventh child, Love. He posted on Twitter "I’m so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world."

In November 2022 Rebel Wilson welcomed her baby daughter into the world. She sent out the following statement on Instagram "Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born this past week via surrogate."

On January 7, 2022, model Ashley Graham became a mother of 3, with the arrival of twin baby boys.

Cristiano Ronaldo and model Georgina Rodríguez were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their twins in April. Unfortunately, one of the children died while still in the mother's womb. In a statement made on social media, Ronaldo said that the birth of their baby girl gave the couple strength in that difficult time.

Rihanna joined the list of first-time moms this year. The singer gave birth to a boy (whose name has not been released) on May 13 in Los Angeles. The baby is the son of the singer with rapper A$AP Rocky.

The youngest of the Kardashian sisters, influencer and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner, welcomed her second child with rapper Travis Scott. The baby boy Wolf Webster was born on February 2nd.

On September 22, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin used social media to announce that they were parents again. Ilaria Catalina Irene joined the siblings Carmen, Raphael, Leonardo, Romeo, Eduardo, Maria, and Ireland (daughter of Baldwin and Kim Basinger).

Actress and model Lydia Hearst, an heiress to the publisher's empire, had a daughter on January 29 with comedian Chris Hardwick, Page Six reported. The baby's name is Dimity Facente Hearst-Hardwick.

In August 2022 Khloé Kardashian became a mother for the second time to a baby boy with ex-partner Tristan Thompson. The child was born via surrogate.

The singer and his fiancée welcomed a baby girl on June 13, 2022.

The 'Orange is the New Black' actress had two babies in March 2022, she told her Instagram followers. "Being a mother has changed my world. My babies are everything to me," Page Six cites the actress' social media post.

The 'Glee' actress became the mother of a beautiful baby girl in June 2022.

Runaway June band member Jennifer Wayne had a daughter together with her husband Austin Moody on April 18, 2022. The girl's name is Lily Maria Moody, People magazine reports.

Andy Cohen welcomed a baby girl, Lucy Eve Cohen, via surrogate in April 2022. She's his second child.

Together with her fiancé Jason Statham, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley became the parent of a second baby girl, Isabella James Statham, in February 2022.

Fashion influencer Lauren Scruggs is celebrating her first Mother's Day after a long trajectory of trying to get pregnant with former E! News host Jason Kennedy. The couple was very open about their trajectory of in vitro fertilization. On April 3, Ryver Rhodes Kennedy was born, Page Six confirms.

On January 11, tv host Jeannie Mai of 'The Real' had her first baby with her husband Jeezy. "I asked God for a life of love and happiness. He sent me my family. Baby Jenkins is here," Page Six cited her Instagram announcement of the happy event.

The actress welcomed her second baby, Rome, in May 2022. Mitchell posted on her Instagram account: "We're so happy you're here Rome."

Rapper Eve had a baby boy, Wilde Wolf, in April 2022, People magazine reports. "Never been this tired. Never been this happy," she wrote on Instagram. The father of the baby is Maximillion Cooper.
