Mike Lynch, a 51-year-old British tycoon who made his fortune in the technology sector, died off the coast of Sicily in a shipwreck. A strong storm caused the yacht to sink while he was on it with 21 other people. Six of the wealthy guests did not survive, including Lynch's daughter, Hannah (18).

The former American WWE world champion died at age 63 from cancer. His son, Gunnar Eudy, announced the news on social media. In 2021, the wrestler had been diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma linked to the herbicide Roundup.

His book inspired the movie 'Behind the Candelabra' about Liberace. Scott Thorson (r) met the famous pianist (l) at age 17 and had a relationship with him for five years, after which he successfully sued the star for alimony. Thorson died at age 65 of cancer and heart disease.

The famous American presenter and producer who created and hosted the pioneer in talk shows ('The Phil Donahue Show'), died after a long illness, surrounded by his family, CNN reported.

Susan Wojcicki - August 9

One of the most powerful women on the internet in the past 20 years, Susan Wojcicki passed away at the age of 56 from lung cancer. She was the CEO of YouTube from 2014 to 2023.

Peter Marshall - August 15

American singer, actor, and presenter Peter Marshall, remembered for his participation in the program 'The Hollywood Squares' from 1966 to 1981, passed away from kidney failure. He was 98 years old and died at his residence in Los Angeles.
