Throwback to the old-fashioned 2020 Oscars' red carpet

Are you excited for the 2021 Oscar gala? So are we! And yet, we cannot help but feel nostalgic about the 'olden days' - those the pre-pandemic times when hundreds of moviemakers gathered in a grand theatre, walking down a crowded red carpet and greeting each other with hugs and kisses. Here's a photo album of the past gala, in 2020, right before everything was shut down by coronavirus.

Absolutely one of the first we think about when remembering any red carpet: Billy Porter! On this occasion, he showed off a lovely Giles Deacon design.

The South African and American actress was nominated for her role in 'Bombshell' and wore Dior.
