The online anger directed at the Disney+ series was not the last of the series’ tragedies. In January last year, actress Kim Mi-soo, who played a minor character in the series, passed suddenly. To date, NBC News reports that the cause of death has not been revealed.

Kim Mi-soo's death was not the last tragedy that the people involved in 'Snowdrop' had to deal with. A year later, in 2023, fellow minor character actor Park Soo-ryun also died, bringing the total number of deceased actors from the series to two.

The Statesman notes that Park Soo-ryun's work in theatre did not end with her role in 'Snowdrop.' The actress was slated to perform in a theatre production on Jeju Island prior to her passing.

In contrast to the mysterious circumstances surrounding Kim Mi-soo's death, Park Soo-ryun's cause of death was very clear. The actress died after a fatal accident on June 12, 2023.She fell down a flight of stairs on her way home, according to the news outlet Soompi.

Allkpop notes that despite attempts to resuscitate her in the hospital, Park Soo-ryun was unable to be saved. She ultimately passed after being in a coma.

Following her passing, family members made the decision to donate her organs. Channel News Asia quotes her mother saying: “We will be able to live comforted (by the thought that her heart) has gone to someone and is beating.”
