Britain's top-of-the-range car company also joined the electrification wave with its Jaguar I-Pace. A model with 400 hp and a range of almost 500 km. With a starting price of 87,000 dollars, this powerful sports SUV is capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.

Tesla Model X

The fastest allroad on the market is called Tesla Model X. Its 612 hp of power allows it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds. The Model X is available in three variants, all recognisable by its rear doors that open upwards. There's the 75D, the 100D, and the P100D, with a range of 417, 565 and 542 km respectively. With a starting price of 55,000 dollars, the Tesla Model 3 is the company's most affordable sedan. Tesla has had to create a new construction plant in Nevada, where it manufactures 500,000 units a year, to meet the worldwide demand for this car. Its reach oscillates between 418 and 500 kilometers. If this car attracts attention for anything, it is for its minimalism, concentrated in a 15-inch central screen.

Aston Martin Rapide

The first electric model of the luxury firm is this precious Aston Martin Rapid E. It is a limited edition of 155 units with 610 hp and 320 km of autonomy. Able to reach 250 km/h and go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, the car costs 242,000 dollars.

Volvo XC-40

The Volvo XC40 is the first electric vehicle in the company's catalog. It hit the market in 2021 and has 408 hp which allows it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. In addition, it has a range of more than 400 km, with a battery that can be charged up to 80% in less than 40 minutes.

Mercedes EQC

The Mercedes EQC is the new electric SUV from the German company. With an elegant and sporty design, it comes equipped with a 60 kWh battery and an engine between 150 kWh and 300 kWh, or 204 to 408 hp. Its range is around 400 kilometers and it charges in just 40 minutes. The starting price of the Mercedes EQC is 96,000 dollars.

Hyundai Kona

The Hyundai Kona, the new star of the South Korean firm, has up to two 100% electric versions: one with 136 hp and 312 km of autonomy and another with 204 hp and 482 km of autonomy. An urban model, it's modern and has already become a super seller.

Audi e-tron

It is Audi's first electric car and has been, of course, an SUV that stays between Q5 and Q7. Its two electric motors will give a combined power of 300 kW, or 408 hp, and up to 664 Nm of torque-motor. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and its speed is limited to 200 km/h. Its starting price is 90,700 dollars.

BMW i3

Renewed in 2018, the BMW i3 is one of the electric surprises of recent years. Available in two versions, one with 170 hp and the other with 184 hp, both with a range of 280 km, this car is ideal for the city. It costs 44,000 dollars.

Polestar 2

In 2020, the sports subsidiary of Volvo launched the Polestar 2, a compact sedan that competes with the Tesla Model 3. It has a 78 kWh battery that offers a range of almost 500 km. Meanwhile, the electric motor has a power of 300 kW (408 hp) and 660 Nm. Its starting price will be 43,000 dollars.
