Lindau Lighthouse (Germany)

One of the most beautiful lighthouses in the world is located on Lake Constance, Germany. The Landau Lighthouse was finished in 1876 and has been welcoming people to the German town ever since, along with the Bavarian Lion statue.

Mangiabarche Lighthouse (Italy)

Located in the channel between the islands of San Pietro and Sant'Antioco in Sardinia, the Mangiabarche Lighthouse stands alone on a rock not far from the coast, the very emblem of the nostalgic charm of this type of building.

Heceta Head Lighthouse, Oregon Coast (USA)

This lighthouse was built in 1888 and is located on the Oregon coast, in the United States. Its name, Heceta Head, comes from the Spanish explorer who came to this place in the 18th century: Bruno de Heceta.

Tourlitis Lighthouse, Andros Island (Greece)

On the island of Andros, within the Cyclades archipelago, this beautiful lighthouse is the only one of its kind in Europe to be built on solid rock. It was destroyed during World War II, but it was rebuilt as Greece's first fully-automated lighthouse.

Yaquina Head Lighthouse in Newport, Oregon (USA)

This historic lighthouse is also the tallest in Oregon. Interestingly, it was made in Paris before being shipped Stateside. And adding to its international dimension is the fact that it doubled for a Japanese lighthouse in 'The Ring' (2oo2).
