This is Meadow, the daughter of deceased 'Fast and Furious' star Paul Walker

It seems like a short time ago, but it was as far back as November 2013 when the world got the news of Paul Walker's death. The actor was 40 and died in a car accident.

Apart from his cinematic legacy, he left us the thing he loved the most in the world: his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow Walker.

Meadow Walker was born in 1998. She is the daughter of Rebecca Soteros and Paul Walker. After her father's shocking death, the young woman has moved on and grown up to be a star in her own right.

Meadow lived in Hawaii with her mother until she turned 13 and moved to California with her father. Until the day of the accident, both of her parents had taken their daughter's privacy very seriously.

Not everybody is aware of how good of a father Paul Walker was and how he even changed his shooting schedules to be with his daughter. For example, Paul never accepted any projects during the summer. That way he could enjoy the time Meadow was on school break.

The fight for Meadow Walker's custody attracted much attention from the press. Her grandmother, Cheryl Ann Walker, filed for her custody. Her mother, Rebecca Soteros, had problems with alcohol.

After asking her grandmother to take back the custody petition, Meadow went to live with her mother. She wanted to be with Soteros, who had overcome her problems with alcohol.

Meadow Walker has another actor that is taking good care of her: Vin Diesel. Paul Walker's co-star in 'Fast & Furious' was like a brother to him and considers Meadow like one of his children.

In the meantime, Meadow Walker was designated the universal heir of Paul Walker's patrimony, estimated at 25 million dollars.

With time, although the memory of Paul Walker could never be forgotten, Meadow has gone back to a somewhat normal life.

She has been working to make a name for herself and is trying to no longer be 'the daughter of'... and just be Meadow Walker.

To do so, Meadow signed a contract with the agency DNA Models in 2017. Slowly, she became one of the most prized models in the industry.

Meadow Walker has already worked with some of the greatest fashion brands: Proenza Schouler, Zara, Y/Project, and more. She even got to open the Givenchy prêt-à-porter Fall-Winter Collection Show in 2021.

She is so involved in the fashion world that the French company even designed her wedding dress!

In August 2021, Meadow Walker announced her engagement with the actor and model Louis Thornton-Allan.

Two months later, the couple got married in an intimate and private wedding in the Dominican Republic. Vin Diesel was the one who walked Meadow down the aisle.

Since Paul Walker passed away, Vin Diesel has been like a father to her. In fact, Meadow Walker and Vin Diesel's children Hania, Vincent and Pauline have a strong relationship and call themselves siblings.

Everyone can see how close they are. In an Instagram post shared by Meadow, Diesel's children and Meadow appeared together in a photo titled 'Family Forever' — a reference to 'Fast & Furious'.

Instagram has become Meadow Walker's favorite platform. The model has more than 3.6 million followers and is a very active influencer.

There was a time, after her father's passing and all the media frenzy, when she stopped using Instagram. She returned to the spotlight when the situation was more stable.

She shared on Instagram that she had cancer and posted a picture of herself during treatment.

In November 2021, she shared a picture of two years ago where she wrote: "I've come a long way. Blessed and Grateful."

Meadow Walker has also continued the charity work of her father. In 2015, she created 'The Paul Walker Foundation'.

The organization gives grants to Sea Science students in an homage to Paul Walker's passion for the ocean. Meadow is also involved in the anti-abuse movement called 'Everyone's Invited'.
