Unlike previous seasons, which featured minimalist designs and fairly neutral colors, 2023 will mark a return to extravagance.

After two years under the weight of a global pandemic, the designers wanted to cheer us up by creating positive and joyful atmospheres in our homes. No more depression, make way for all that is flamboyant!

Pop colors, graphic patterns, and rounded shapes, the decoration trends of 2023 inevitably make us think of the 70s and 80s. A retro atmosphere that we particularly like!

Expect blue to enter your home in 2023, whether it's in your closet or your living room. Electric blue is the color that should be all the rage, but its other shades are welcome too. It only takes a few touches to make an impact; why not have plates like these, for example?

Among the trendy colors spotted at the Salon Maison & Objets, we note a preference for orange, terracotta, and coral. Colors that go very well with wooden furniture and plant decoration.

Yes, in 2023, stationery becomes a decorative element in its own right. The reason? “With the development of telework, we often have our office in the living room or in our bedroom. And the notebook placed on it becomes an element of the decor, ”says François Delcaux, director of the design consulting agency 'A new air' in Madame Figaro.
