Famous men with unique magnetism

Hollywood is famous for beautiful people; but the times are indeed changing - so it is always interesting to have a look at the list of actors and actresses who are not generically handsome, but have a special magnetism.

Adam Driver

So let's begin our list with Adam Driver: he is tall, dark, and charismatic. In fact, the actor himself said, "I have been told before that I have an unusual face. But my face is my face. I had a whole life before acting, over the years. Lots of things have been said about my face."

Adrien Brody

He has this seductive asymmetrical face. His nose is hyperbolic and has an attitude of an old-fashioned heartthrob. So without further ado, we introduce Brody, a face known to many over the world, which has transformed Brody's characters into memorable pieces of art.

Daniel Craig

The magnetism of Daniel Craig is inexplicable. His naked muscular torso in 'Casino Royale', is cinema history. Hopefully, he returns as his new, suave character, Detective Benoit Blanc, in another 'Knives Out' mystery.

Benicio del Toro

The so-called 'Latin Brad Pitt' has a huge fan base around the world. However, the most common comment this actor receives is that his face is 'funny'. But there is no denying his charisma.

Norman Reedus

It's clear that Daryl Reedus' character in 'The Walking Dead' helps to boost the show's sex appeal. Many fans even prefer him with his hair in a mess, but did you know that he was actually a model in his early days?

Jeffrey Dean Morgan

The beard gives him several ticks and 'Lucille' (Negan's bat in 'The Walking Dead'), has given this actor a bad-guy 'gruff' sex appeal. This actor completely commands a set and an audience, without being 'out-of-this-world' at first glance.

Charlie Heaton

'Stranger Things' has made him a well-known and recognisable icon around the world. Even though his fandom is growing, he has an unsettling look in his eyes that some people are not entirely convinced by. Adds to his charm?

Channing Tatum

His body is undisputed, but his face generates a lot of debate. In the USA he is compared to a Cabbage Patch Kid - that is to say, a Cabbage Patch Doll - and it's true, there is a faint likeness...

Benedict Cumberbatch

One of Hollywood's hottest actors has a commanding presence with his strong voice and the charm he brings to his characters. His performance as 'Sherlock' (BBC) is hypnotic. But of course, if you get told you resemble an otter, you know you’re not traditional Hollywood material. We don't care - he's still got it.

Ben McKenzie

Gotham's James Gordon is objectively handsome but has a face that struggles to light up a room. In 'The OC' he became an unexpected heartthrob. Despite - obviously - looking great, he's lost that sparkle of yesteryear. He has some good luck in his love life, however, and is married to the lovely Morena Baccarin.

Billy Bob Thornton

Depending on the day, Billy Bob Thornton can be the most attractive mature man in the world, yet could also come across as an antisocial old man. He was able to get the attention of Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston, so the appeal is obviously there.

Cillian Murphy

Tommy Shelby has made him a TV legend and one of the most desirable men in the star system. His penetrating gaze and extremely chiseled face are anything but Hollywood. But he's got it.

Damian Lewis

Redheads have their own special touch. On the one hand, Damian Lewis is not the immediately good-looking guy who catches your eye when you see him with other people. On the other hand, watching him on screen and out at public events, we can tell you: his attractiveness sure grows.

Daniel Radcliffe

The ageless Harry Potter and his boyish face might not be considered for the hottest lists. That doesn't mean he doesn't spark some serious interest, but what is it about him? The British actor sure knows a lot about love potions...

Domhnall Gleeson

Another actor who has the public divided. There are those who see him as a heartthrob; there are those who just don't see it. It seems Hollywood has put him in the former group, as they have given him roles in comedies and romantic dramas.

Eddie Redmayne

Many are asking if the Oscar-winning actor's problem is that he looks better as a woman than as a man. His boyish face is so effeminate, that 'The Danish Girl' seemed to be almost written entirely for him.

Edward Norton

His billionaire bad-boy persona in 'Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery' made him really rather appealing to many, despite the political overtones. But perhaps the years haven't quite established this strangely handsome actor as a timeless masterpiece.

Eric Balfour

With a goatee, Eric Balfour is one of the most attractive actors in the world. Without a goatee, he looks like a half-drawn cartoon. His elongated face seems to need facial hair to counterbalance it.

Iwan Rheon

In 'Misfits', he started out as the show's nerd and ended up as an unexpected hero. Meanwhile, in 'Game of Thrones', his Ramsay Bolton was as psychopathic as he was attractive. This actor has a strange magnetism that many have found fascinating (and extremely powerful on the screen).

Gary Oldman

He is elegant and handsome like few others have managed in their 60s. He certainly knows how to brush up, especially on red carpets.

Gerard Depardieu

Before he put on a lot of weight and became a Russian citizen, this French actor, while not overly handsome, was definitely striking.

James Frain

The Leeds British accent surely adds some points. If we add to this the impressive body he boasts, and the natural elegance he emits, it helps with the face of the eternal villain that genetics has given him.

James McAvoy

Depending on the film, the day, and the clothes he's wearing, James McAvoy goes from Hollywood's finest to an average guy in the blink of an eye. The talent he brings to the table also scores him points.

Javier Bardem

Latin ruggedness personified. His split nose, rotund physique, and XL face make him a one-of-a-kind actor that has the power to really charm and captivate an audience.

Jeff Goldblum

Dr. Ian Malcolm has become a household meme. As one of Hollywood's most likable actors, he maintains an enviable physique and an elegance to match.

Joaquin Phoenix

It's no coincidence that he has specialised in oddball roles. His face cries out for them, which, together with his talent, makes him a clear candidate for an Oscar, as was the case with his unforgettable portrayal of the Joker.

Jon Bernthal

The US version of Javier Bardem also lures the crowds. He's not generically handsome, but he does often catch the light the right way.

Liam Gallagher

Both Liam and Noel - brothers, enemies, and members of the legendary band 'Oasis' - share the same genetics and late-night hooligan look. Despite this, their fans' numbers are in the millions. We guess many do like something a little more uncut.

Matthew Lewis

Neville Longbottom has grown up. Harry Potter's clumsy friend is now a full-fledged big man. Unfortunately, however, his face will always be that of Neville Longbottom.

Mick Jagger

The grandfather who became a father. The legend who will surely be on stage until his last breath has lured millions of fans that have fallen for his charms, whatever they may be. Frontman and mover, there is something about this rubber-lipped charmer. Perhaps it's his moves?

Owen Wilson

Hansel is now a stud. He has the profile of a Tommy Hilfiger model: blond hair, blue eyes, a toned body, and great hair. But what is it that makes him so appealing, aside from his obvious acting talents? The broken nose perhaps? The pouty lips?

Paul Bettany

He is charming and elegant with his wonderful English accent, but he seems to have some more serious undertones. He actually has a slight look of crazy about him. He can’t be all bad though as he and Jennifer Connolly have been together forever.

Pete Doherty

For starters, Pete Doherty is well into his 40s, despite having the face of a child. Even so, he has some tremendous charm and has had relationships with some of the most beautiful women in history: Kate Moss, Rami Connelly, and Amy Winehouse.

Rami Malek

The Oscar-winning actor has Egyptian roots that speak for themselves. His slow and leisurely tone, coupled with his bulging eyes, make him the ideal candidate for the bad guy roles.

Riz Ahmed

The fashionable Indian actor is somewhere between the perfect son-in-law and a stranger. In 'The Night Of' you can see this fusion perfectly. Incidentally, it's a must-see series on HBO.

Robert Pattinson

Perhaps 'Twilight' took him to the heartthrob category that maybe, physically, he didn't deserve. Now, time has shown that his talent is far beyond the vampire saga. He surely has more admirers now as the new Batman.

Russell Brand

This comedian and actor was married to Katy Perry for a year and is, in fact, a self-confessed s e x addict. Despite his raggedy, slovenly appearance, he takes great care with his looks and charms the ladies more than you'd think. He is also highly intelligent and political, which are extra attractive features in many people's books.

Ryan Gosling

This Hollywood star has melted the heart of many ladies with his performances in 'La la land' and, of course, one of the most romantic films of our time, 'The Notebook' - but is he generically handsome or does he have something about him...?

Ryan Reynolds

Another actor who looks like a different (and much better looking) person when he has a beard. It also helps that he has a muscular body and is one of the funniest guys in Hollywood. Blake Lively is in love with him for a reason.

Nicolas Sarkozy

The former President of the French Republic (2007-2012) has an undeniable appeal that has seen him walk down the aisle three times. Despite his notorious short stature, he is considered a desirable man and married to a top model. Power is... attractive?

Seth Rogen

Rogen is the kind of guy that everyone sees as a friend to go out for laughs with, except those who see him as a handsome, Hollywood A-lister. More than a few fans feel the same. Laughter and having a good sense of humor are, after all, incredibly attractive.

Shia Labeouf

The cool craziness of the once-great rising Hollywood star captivated a lot of people. Shia Labeouf has the face of a model, the attitude of someone who wants to take on the world, and the ideas of a genius, but it's been hard to take him seriously. Attractive, yes, but a little bizarre.

Tom Felton

The 'Draco Malfoy' actor turned out to be one of the most likable actors in the Harry Potter cast. Depending on the day, he could be a handsome surfer walking out the waves on the Australian coast, or an unemployed young man from the slums who has been in a pub for hours. Both versions of Mr. Felton have millions of fans.

Tom Hardy

The English actor definitely has a 'je ne sais quoi'. Not only is he one of the best actors of his generation, but he is also incredibly handsome. If you need further proof check out his figure in the film 'Warrior.'

Vincent Cassel

A case of strangely hypnotic beauty. Whether it's the eyes, the attitude, or the presence; Vincent Casell has that thing that few stars have, the ability to walk into a room and have everyone turn to look at him, unable to help themselves.

Wes Bentley

The star of 'American Beauty' is objectively handsome. His face is almost perfect and comes with majestic eyes. However, he has the unfortunate face of a psychopath and he himself has acknowledged this. But, it has helped him land several roles. Among them, Edward Mordrake in 'American Horror Story'.

Willem Dafoe

Another actor who has the face of a supervillain. Perhaps that's why we like him? Is it because of the lure of the dark side? Well, he is one of the most attractive actors in Hollywood, despite not having a generically handsome face.

Wilmer Valderrama

Born in Miami, his Latin looks have made him desirable - desirable with puffy cheeks. Yet, Mandy Moore, Lindsay Lohan, and Demi Lovato have been the NCIS star's past partners.

Marc Anthony

One of the most relevant Latin singers in history and one of the most curious attractions in history. A guy who made Jennifer Lopez fall in love? We are still not quite sure what his secret is.
