Ana de Armas rocks new hairdo and quits Twitter after Ben Affleck breakup: this is their story

Fans of Ana de Armas have recently noticed that her Twitter account no longer exists. It seems that the Cuban-Spanish actress wanted a little break from the 'discussion platform' after her famous union with Ben Affleck had suddenly dissolved.

On Instagram, where the star is still active, Ana de Armas showed off her new look. She must have thought: new year, new life, new hair. It's a common step for recent singles - Rebel Wilson is out there, too. For Ana de Armas, the break from Ben Affleck is not 100%, however, because they are still in contact and remain friends, the Daily Mail reports.

In January 2021, People Magazine reported that 2020's hottest Hollywood romance had ended. After ten months of dating, actors Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck split up.

Even though there's "still a lot of love" between the two, an insider told People, their lives were too different. Affleck has three children and runs his family home in Los Angeles while Ana de Armas is young and at a "different point" in her life. Recently, she appeared in an online talk show ('Es de Madre') with her fresh new haircut.

Ben Affleck is nearly fifty and Ana de Armas is in her early thirties. They clearly hit it off, as we could see when they went out and about together, but the age difference and the stages of their respective lives were too much for them in the end.

Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas met on the set of 'Deep Water', a thriller based on Patricia Highsmith's novel with the same name. The director of the film was Adrian Lyne who also made '80s hits like 'Flashdance'.

In August 2020, Ana de Armas celebrated Ben Affleck's 48th birthday with him. She got him a BMW motorcycle and they took a ride on it together, Harper's Bazaar reports. "They even wore matching olive-green helmets."

On August 24, the actress was spotted moving some of her things into Ben Affleck's house. Harper's Bazaar speculated that they were moving in together and People magazine wrote that "she had a huge grin and seemed very excited about living with Affleck." But as it seems now, they may have been wrong about that.
