With Valentine's Day just around the corner, this romantic teen trilogy is coming out just in time. With lead roles played by Lana Condor and Noah Centineo, the story follows a young girl, Lara Jean, in the process of beginning her adult life. Will she rethink her future after a trip to Korea to see her family? The tag line given to this film is 'You never know where love will lead you', and it will surely be filled with twists and complex love/family decisions.

The Dig - January 29 (Netflix)

This is not a February premier but we wanted to remind you of this beautiful movie anyway. An adaptation of the novel by John Preston, this film tells the story of a remarkable archaeological find in Sutton Hoo, UK, in 1938. Archeology may seem an unlikely theme for a compelling film, but the protagonists by Carey Mulligan and Ralph Fiennes will move the viewer until the end of the story.

Fake Famous - February 2 (HBO)

Interesting and current documentary that unveils worldwide social reality fame as not being all it appears to be. 'Fake Famous' chooses three random, anonymous people from Los Angeles and tries to turn them into globally recognised influencers. Will they be successful? Will they remain anonymous? This documentary takes you on their journey.

Firefly Lane - February 3 (Netflix)

A true depiction of the magnificent, powerful novel by Kristin Hannah, this series presents the sincere and complicated ups and downs of the friendship between Sara Chalke (Kate) and Katherine Heigl (Tully), who have been friends since childhood.

All My Friends are Dead - February 3 (Netflix)

A thriller with the scent of the 70s but adapted to the modern day. A surprising proposal arrives from Poland just after a New Year's party was devastated by a massacre. And here begins the story. Flashbacks and testimonies shed light on what happened as the characters slowly retell the story of a legendary night that combined celebration with death.

Malcolm & Marie - February 5 (Netflix)

Possibly the movie that will provide Zendaya with a chance for the Oscar, months after winning an Emmy. Filmed by Sam Levinson ('Euphoria') in complete confinement during the pandemic, the film tells us the story of a complex couple - their past and future insecurities, fears and longings. An intimate and elegant film in which John David Washington acts alongside Zendaya, a star that is constantly on the rise.

The Right Stuff - February 5 (Disney+)

A series about American astronauts is always going to be a crowd-pleaser. In this case, the series will revolve around the Mercury Program and the process of selection of the pilots chosen to be the first crew of US astronauts to reach space. Everything that revolves around this mission will eventually turn those involved into heroes, even before they deserve it. Inspired by a famous report in which writer Tom Wolfe explained the tough beginnings of the space race by documenting the stories of the first astronauts.

Little Coincidences (S3) - February 5 (Amazon Prime)

Marta and Javier say goodbye to each other and the show in this romantic comedy. Made up of 10 episodes this season will revolve around the baby that the lead character is expecting as she begins her adventure in Mexico, whilst Javier tries to locate her by any means possible.

Hache (S2) - February 5 (Netflix)

In this second season, Helena (Adriana Ugarte) will have to show that she has the courage and criminal talent to run Malpica's illegal business within the most influential part of Barcelona. In addition to the excellent portrayal of the lead characters by extremely skilful actors, the best thing about this fiction is its oustandingly true-to-era 60s setting.

Space Sweepers - February 5 (Netflix)

Somewhere between an epic, comedy and classic sci-fi, this Korean film features an uninhabitable planet Earth with humans living in the planet's orbit. A group of space sweepers, on a day like any other, meet an adorable little girl who turns out to be a bomb with a deadly destructive power.

Strip Down, Rise Up - February 5 (Netflix)

This beautiful documentary shows a group of women who, via the means of pole dancing, are able to overcome and heal all kinds of traumas related to their physical appearance. An uplifting documentary that follows many women's body shame stories.

Bliss - February 5 (Amazon Prime)

Owen Wilson and Salma Hayek play a couple who, at some point, will have to choose between living their real life which is full of stress and anxiety, or choosing a perfect but false parallel life.

Marvel's Behind the Mask - February 12 (Disney+)

A brand new Marvel documentary set for release in February which will explore the identity of the superheroes we know and love. Their secret identities have allowed these super beings to have 'normal lives' aside from their super-powered day job, but this documentary delves into how the changing times and ever changing equal rights movements have affected these identities. Interviews from the writers and artists at Marvel explain not only the effect the world has had on Marvel, but also the effect Marvel has had on the world.

The Little Things - February 12 (HBO Max)

Featuring three Academy Award winning actors, this crime thriller is set to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Kern County Deputy Sheriff Joe “Deke” Deacon (Denzel Washington) is sent to carry out a simple evidence-collecting assignment but gets caught up in chasing a killer and L.A. Sheriff Department Sergeant Jim Baxter (Rami Malek) officially asks for her help. Things are not always what they seem and the more the two investigate, the more Baxter learns about Deke's secret past.

The Crew - February 15 (Netflix)

Kevin James returns to Netflix in a 90s-style sitcom which revolves around the NASCAR competitions. The story follows the lead character in his quest as the team leader of a group in this contest. His problems begin when his team changes and a new generation arrives to overthrow him. The team try to force him out simply because of the generation gap.

Animals on the Loose: A You vs. Wild Movie - February 16 (Netflix)

Bear Grylls stars in this original interactive story in which the viewer must help the mythical survivor make decisions. It all starts when and animal enclosure's fence is broken and they escape. It is time to go and find them and fix the fence. Every decision made will affect the end of the story. A fun show with great audience participation.

Tribes of Europa - February 19 (Netflix)

A German dystopian sci-fi series that has already caught many people's attention. The storyline takes us to 2070, where three brothers are entangled in a story of survival in an Old Continent which is now divided into micro-states. Setting out to bring a fractured Europe back together... Sounds topical to me.

Glee (The Complete Series) - February 19 (Disney+)

Disney+ recuperates one of the greatest works of Ryan Murphy. The series that influenced an entire generation and inspired millions of people also made William McKinley High School one of the best-known faculties in the history of television. For those not yet familiar with the series, it revolved around a choir whose members approach different social issues including sexuality, race, relationships and teamwork.

Dolittle - February 20 (HBO)

From Iron Man to Dolittle. Robert Downey Jr. parked Tony Stark and started talking to animals instead in this hilarious family comedy set in 19th century England. The plot of the film revolves around the search for a cure for Queen Victoria that only Dolittle and his furry friends can find.

Explota, Explota - February 25 (Amazon Prime)

Fun and lively musical in which María (Ingrid García-Johnson) travels to Madrid to fulfil her dream of being a dancer and be part of the new show: "Las Noches de Rosa". All to the rhythm of the wonderful songs of Rafaella Carrá.

Crazy About Her - February 26 (Netflix)

What if you met the love of your life and then found out that he had escaped from a mental hospital? Adro (Álvaro Cervantes) knows exactly what he would do: he would do everything possible to be admitted and thus be able to be with his beloved Carla (Susana Abaitua)

Booksmart - February 26 (Netflix)

Olivia Wilde's debut film is an absolute delight. Amy and Molly are two responsible and diligent students who find out that they seem to have wasted a lot of time when their less diligent peers end up going to the same university as them. To remedy this, they will try to recover the experiences of four years in a single night.
