Coachella 2023: quirky and wild outfits

Coachella can be described as one big runway: a music and arts festival where you can see the craziest and wildest looks. Let's remember some of the best and worst looks of Coachella in 2023.

Taking risks

From celebrities to crew to the general public, this year's Coachella saw diverse styles and outfits. Take a look at Via Rosa of the band DRAMA who wasn't afraid to take risks. And she's not the only one...

Sia in animal print

Sia never fails to disappoint and brings a pinky animal print to the stage alongside Maddie Zeigler in a similar costume. The singer, of course, wore her signature wig and the two gave as solid performance the audience loved.

Zendaya

Zendaya joined Labrinth for the second weekend of the arts and music festival to perform their Emmy-nominated hit “I’m Tired” as well as the song “All of Us.” After 7 years without singing in public, Zendaya took to the stage in a pink coset top and frilly skirt looking girly, fun and a little bit 90s!

Ali in white

And what about this look from Ali Sethi. It looks comfy and breezy but not sure the glasses add to the overall image in a good way.

Black and red for Jackson Wang

Let's face it, Jackson Wang's outfit doesn't need too many words to describe it: Black... Red...

But is that fire coming out of his microphone? That's new.

The perfect combination of feminine and masculine

Feminine and masculine stereotypes in fashion are now a thing of the past. Everything can be mixed up and is gender-fluid. That's why this masculine leather vest is perfectly combined with a mesh top and a crossbody bag. Great look.

A very Paris Hilton look

This next look reminds us of something Paris Hilton would wear in previous years of the festival… The definition of boho chic!

Less is more

Sometimes less is more and attitude, sobriety and natural elegance can be all you need.

Irina Shayk's style: simple but effective

This is the case of Irina Shayk: with a simple black dress, statement sunglasses, and no jewelry the model has put together a decent outfit that goes along with her style.

Alessandra Ambrosio's classic look

A good or bad look? Well, if we look at Alessandra Ambrosio's previous Coachella outfits in 2014, 2015, 2016, etc. we'll see that they are always kind of the same, and, honestly, it's getting a bit repetitive...

Power couple

This is how coordinated Raw Alejandro and Rosalia appeared on stage; their chemistry has crowned them as the most powerful couple in the Latin music world.

A trendy outfit

And as we have mentioned, see-through pieces and lingerie are very in this year. Rosalia hit us on the right spot by mixing this ruffled blouse and corset bralette with leather leggings. The vibes are immaculate.

The most important accessory: attitude

But of course, what everyone was excited to see was the artist's attitude on stage which is always an essential part of a look. And 'motomami' did not disappoint.

Not for Coachella

Maybe too casual? The outfit is simple but the accessories are elevating the look, yet we think is not Coachella at all... do you agree?

Björk as original as usual

Björk knew where she was performing and confidently presented us with this extravagant and excessive look. Does it scream Coachella? Maybe not. Is it perfect for a show? Absolutely!

The K-pop style

The members of DPR looked modern and perfect to rock the Coachella stage with their K-pop rap.

The perfect festival look

But it is not all luxury and extravagance, these two girls prove that we can all match the Coachella vibe. With that green and white checkered two-piece set, you can never go wrong. It's fun and comfortable.

Disney or Coachella?

To each, their own, but maybe puffy sleeves and a vibrant pink simple dress is not wowing anyone at the festival...

Denim on denim

Will Smith's daughter, WILLOW, mastered another hyped trend in this year's fashion: denim on denim. The artist looked cool, comfortable, and fashionable.

Jaden Smith's style

On the other hand, her brother Jaden wore this multicolored graphic jacket that didn't look very flattering on him.

Combining trends

Another artist that knew how to rock the trends of this year was Becky G. Her look with the shiny lingerie and full denim outfit was a win-win.

Too much?

However, her second look was not on theme. This blue sequined dress could be perfect for any reggaeton party but maybe not for Coachella.

One of the headliner artists

And continuing with Latin artists and reggaeton, Bad Bunny dealt perfectly with the cold nights of the Coachella desert thanks to this patchwork puffer jacket. All the jewelry and the no-shirt touch completed this great outfit.

True to her style

Billy Eilish also knew how temperatures can drop in the middle of the desert and made sure to be warm with this all-black oversized look which is the usual style of the artist.

Looking cool

Lastly, we have the actress and singer Suki Waterhouse who ignored all the Coachella fashion memos and continue to rock her polished English look. Cool but simple.

Sunsets at Coachella

At the end of the day, the most important thing about Coachella is having fun: enjoying the desert sunsets, riding the wheel, and dancing until your feet fall off.
