Megan Moroney: New Female Artist of the Year

In a powerful night hosted by Reba McEntire, the annual country music award show, known as the ACM Awards, saw winners like Megan Moroney. She kicked off the show virtually by singing 'Tennessee Orange' at the "party before the party" and also won the Award for New Female Artist of the Year.

Lainey Wilson: Entertainer and Female Artist of the Year

Lainey Wilson dominated the night, winning both Female Artist of the Year and the top prize, Entertainer of the Year. "I’ve been in Nashville for 13 years doing this," Wilson said. "Everybody in this category has loved on me and believed in me, and I love y’all for that."

Jordan Davis: Song of the Year

Jordan Davis took home song of the year for 'Next Thing You Know.' In his acceptance speech, he said, "First off, I want to thank the fans for loving this song. I love songwriting because of songs that won song of the year, so to be holding this right now is crazy."

Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll: Music Event of the Year

Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll won music event of the year for 'Save Me.' Jelly Roll, emotional in his speech, said, "This song saved me. I thought I would die and go to jail," and was visibly emotional to see himself standing there with an ACM award in his hand instead.

Chris Stapleton: Album and Male Artist of the Year

Chris Stapleton won both Male Artist and Album of the Year for 'Higher.' He had another spectacular moment, performing a surprise duet with Dua Lipa for his song 'Think I'm In Love with You.'

Luke Combs: Single of the Year

Luke Combs won Single of the Year for his cover of Tracy Chapman’s 'Fast Car.' Last year, Chapman’s 1988 song won Song of the Year at the Country Music Awards for Combs’ cover, as well making her the first Black songwriter to win in the category.

Dan + Shay: Duo of the Year

Dan + Shay were awarded Duo of the Year, continuing their streak as one of country music’s most beloved pairs. "Shay, I love you so much, brother. I’m so proud to be back up on this stage with you. We’ve been on quite a wild journey over the past 10 years, we’ve seen a lot of highs and a lot of lows, but the one thing that has remained the same is the love and support of this country music community," said Dan in his speech.

Old Dominion: Group of the Year

Old Dominion took home Group of the Year, cementing their place as a leading band in the country music scene. "We could not have dreamed that we wouldn't be standing here having won this thing seven years in a row. This is absolutely insane. Thank you guys so much for allowing us to continue to do this," said lead vocalist Matthew Ramsey.

Nate Smith: New Male Artist of the Year

Nate Smith was named New Male Artist of the Year and performed 'Bulletproof' with Avril Lavigne, showing off his rising star power.

Jason Aldean's tribute to Toby Keith: Performance of the Night

It's not an official prize, but we award it anyway. Jason Aldean delivered a moving tribute to the late Toby Keith, performing 'Should’ve Been a Cowboy'. The audience sang along and Keith’s family watched from the crowd. Keith, who passed away in February at age 62, had won 14 ACM Awards, including 2 Entertainer of the Year Awards.
