The iconic 'Kardashians' house is for sale

It's for sale: the house where one of the longest-running reality shows of all time was filmed. As The New York Times reported first, the Kardashian-Jenner family home has gone on the market.

Since 2010, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian, as well as Kris, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner, have experienced their most important moments in that home; from their extravagant parties to their most iconic fights.

Kris Jenner purchased this home with her then-husband, Bruce, in 2010. The matriarch explained that she has lived unforgettable moments in that house but that she is now excited to see a "new chapter with its new owners," she told the newspaper.

The house is located in the exclusive Hidden Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles and has an area of 8,800 square feet (more than 817,000 square meters).

The house has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Each room has custom-made closets, and one of the most famous is Kris's, as it contains her collection of Birkin bags. Of course, they don't come with the purchase of the home!

Inside, the house features custom-made fireplaces with pieces brought in from Europe. These are decors that fans of the show will recognize instantly. Outside, the property has a pool, a fire pit, and a gazebo.

According to the New York Times, the house is for sale for $13.5 million.

The home has been home to every member of the family, including Rob Kardashian, along with their young daughter, Dream. "This home was an integral part of the show. But it isn’t just a house that was on TV. It’s a home where a family lived their lives, with good times, bad times, kids growing up, and all kinds of evolution," said Tomer Fridman, who represents Jenner in the sale, according to the newspaper.

Despite Fridman describing the home as "an anchor" for the Kardashian-Jenner clan, no one currently lives there.

Jenner hired designer Ryan Saghian to give the house a new lease of life and get it ready for its new owners.
