Donald and Melania Trump together... in awkward photos

Although they are still married, they are still an odd couple. When the New York mogul and former president was convicted of paying hush money to an adult film star and sat through his court case, many people began to wonder where the former first lady was.

Close sources told People magazine that Melania Trump hoped the Stormy Daniels case would just go away. She allegedly hoped it would be a simple rainfall, forgetting that she was married to one of the most recognizable faces in the world.

The former first lady has had a rough road to walk these past years. Being married to Donald Trump is probably hard enough, but having to constantly portray the image of the adoring wife is even harder. Join us as we take a look at photos that may portray what Melania really thinks about the former president.

If you look at Trump and Melania's photos together, and there are a lot, many are of Trump puckering up to kiss the former first lady. We think that Melania isn't a fan of Trump's PDAs, and she is a master kiss evader. For example, in this photo, look at how she is holding Trump's wrist; it looks like she is trying to keep him from getting too close.

We can't blame Melania. If we saw those puckered up lips coming at us, we would just run away!

Now, when your husband wants to kiss you in public, you'll make him look bad if you back away. So what should you do? Melania's solution: deflect from the mouth, let him kiss you on the cheek, and just "air kiss" him back.

But sometimes, even expert kiss-avoiders like Melania fail to avoid all kisses. She must be thinking, "Do it for America, Melania, do it for America!"

When the President gives a speech, we are pretty sure that if a "First Lady Handbook" exists, there must be something about looking attentive and lovingly at your husband as he speaks. That being said, those rules probably don't apply when your husband is constantly making some of the most ridiculous statements in American history!

Melania needs to work on her poker face. She has a beautiful smile, but when her husband is acting like a buffoon, she just can't seem to keep her distaste over his actions from showing on her face.

Or maybe Melania's lack of respect when her husband gives a speech is just her passive-aggressive way of giving him the same treatment she receives. Trump appears to be using his wife's time to speak as a chance for a power nap!

In this photo, one can't help but imagine what Melania is thinking. Our best guess:
"OMG. This can't be my life. What have I signed up for??!!"

Here we have yet another example of Trump doing what he does best: acting a fool. Despite her best efforts to appear indifferent to her husband's actions, Melania's face says it all! Yikes!
