House for sale, marital crisis, tour canceled: Not a great year for Jennifer Lopez!

Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday amidst several professional and personal problems. July 24 was the special day, and she celebrated it apart from her husband.

The festivities began last weekend in the Hamptons. According to several media, Lopez was accompanied by her children, her sister Lynda, and friends such as Benny Medina and Sarah Jessica Parker. However, her husband, Ben Affleck, wasn't there.

For the past few months, Lopez has avoided talking about her marriage. Although she smiles in front of photographers and fans, the marital crisis is more than just a tabloid rumor.

Since May, the couple has barely been seen in public together. The first big clue was Affleck's absence at the Met Gala, where Lopez posed alone, looking thinner than usual.

The couple's mansion in Beverly Hills is now for sale. Purchased for $54 million a year ago, it is now on the market for $61 million. Such a prompt sale suggests the couple is indeed separating. The immense mansion of more than 3,500 square meters with 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms stands vacant.

Lopez's birthday is very close to her wedding anniversary, July 17. However, there has been no joint celebration of that day either. The couple's future therefore seems uncertain ahead of their next anniversary.
