The jury, made up of seven women and five men, began deliberating at around 9:00 a.m. By the end of the day, at 5:00 p.m., they declared the rapper innocent.

He denied the facts

A$AP Rocky was charged with two counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm during a shooting that took place in downtown Hollywood in early November 2021. The rapper never admitted being involved in the shooting.

Claims he didn't own a real gun

The rapper's defense team has always claimed that his weapon was a starter pistol, like those used in athletics. In addition, the bullets were blanks. Therefore, they say, he couldn't have shot any real bullets in Hollywood that night.
