Ryan Reynolds' millionaire businesses you didn't know about
Ryan Reynolds has everything in life: he is nice, handsome, a good actor, funny... everyone likes him, and on top of that is married to Blake Lively and has a wonderful family with her. But to all of this, there's something else we need to add: He has quickly added millions of dollars to his account.
According to Forbes, the Canadian actor recently signed the sale of Mint Mobile, a low-cost wireless telephone company that is a hit in the United States.
The communication giant T-Mobile bought Mint Mobile for a total sum of 1.3 billion dollars.

Considering Ryan Reynolds owned 25% of the company, he probably made about 337.5 million dollars from the deal.

In fact, it was the actor himself who added his comical touch to the statement that Mint Mobile and T-Mobile released after their agreement.
The statement said: "We are so happy T-Mobile beat out an aggressive last-minute bid from my mom Tammy Reynolds as we believe the excellence of their 5G network will provide a better strategic fit than my mom’s slightly above-average mahjong skills."
Taking into account that the Canadian actor already had a net worth of 300 million dollars according to Celebrity Net Worth, this figure is probably going to be doubled.
Reynold's business move has made two things clear: The first one is that Hollywood stars are more and more inclined to diversify their investments…
And the second one is that Ryan Reynolds, in particular, is one of the smartest stars in the industry and knows how to identify a good business opportunity.
Ryan Reynolds did not just get into the telephone business. In 2018, the actor also joined a spirited drinks company: 'Aviation American Gin'.

Just like it happened with Mint Mobile, after two years, the actor sold his part of the company to the all-mighty Diageo for 610 million dollars.
But how does Ryan Reynolds achieve to increase the value of all these small businesses? Well, for that we have to look at another one of his companies: 'Maximum Effort'. It's a film production company that also works as a digital marketing agency. It creates viral, funny, and very impactful advertisements. Surely, this must have boosted his other companies.
In fact, the biggest example of Ryan Reynolds' big marketing venture was 'Deadpool'. The actor and his company promoted the franchise in a way that not only recovered the investment of the initial budget but generated over 1.5 billion dollars in box office revenue.
Of course, having almost 50 million followers on Instagram also makes for an amazing venue to promote any kind of business, product, or investment.
If we add the other, nearly 40 million, followers of his wife Blake Lively, then we can consider the power couple's reach on the social medium as immense - perhaps bigger than anyone else's in Hollywood.
And the best thing is that people aren't jealous or mad about the star's success at all. That's because you can't find a nicer and more likable guy in Hollywood than Ryan Reynolds. People are just genuinely happy for him.
