Like a mini-movie

She added: "it's really, really exciting... there’s really, really good one-liners. And I think everything's bigger, it's a lot more action-packed. Each episode will probably feel a little bit more like a movie."

Detective vibes

Just like in the first season, Wednesday will continue her detective work, adding even more suspense to the story.

Unforgettable episodes

Ortega also mentioned that the episodes will be more memorable. She told Vanity Fair: "In the first season we had episodes that really stood out visually... Every episode [of season two] that I've read so far is like that. It just stands out on its own as a very memorable scene or bit or setting, which I think is what I’m most excited for."

A dream cast

Show creators Al Gough and Miles Millar celebrated the news with CNN, saying, "We're thrilled to have the whole Addams family joining Nevermore Academy this season, along with a dream cast of new and iconic faces."

Amazing new talent

"When we took a look at all the talents we'd gathered, we couldn't have been more thrilled. Mission accomplished," they added.

Fresh faces

The new season will feature Christopher Lloyd, Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Noah Taylor, Thandiwe Newton, Haley Joel Osment, Joonas Suotamo, and many more.

No more Xavier

Percy Hynes White, who played Xavier Thorpe, won't be returning. He was fired from Netflix following harassment accusations, the Daily Mail reports.

More allegations

When the accusations surfaced, the hashtag #CancelPercy trended on X, and many more stories came out in early May 2024, the actor claimed on social media that it was all part of a misinformation campaign against him.

Filming in Ireland

Unlike the first season, which was shot in Romania, the second season will be set in the magical scenery of Ireland.

Bigger and better

The first season had just eight episodes, but it became Netflix's second most successful English-language series, only behind 'Stranger Things.'
