Candid moments of celebrities at the Paris Summer Olympics

Thanks to characters like Snoop Dogg in the audience, TV ratings for the Summer Olympics in Paris were up compared to those of Tokyo in 2021. Of course, the greatest stars were the athletes. And the celebrity viewers showed their respect.

Hollywood celebrities were not the ones in the spotlight for a change. At the Paris Olympics, stars mostly occupied the center of the stadium and, to a lesser extent, the stands. Here's Sharon Stone, for example, always prepared to take a photo with fans.

The actress clearly showed her preference for Team USA during a VIP Olympics party at Ralph's restaurant in Paris.

We suspect Serena Williams did the same during the opening ceremony. She wore Dolce & Gabbana in bright red, a predominant color in the gear of the American athletes.

Williams, too, wanted to see the miracles the gymnastics team could perform. The team's biggest star, Simone Biles, won three gold and one silver medal in Paris. To compare, Williams won four gold medals throughout her entire Olympic career - although we have to take into account that there are simply not that many medals to earn in her sport, tennis.

Meanwhile, from the look on his face, Nick may have missed his Jonas brothers, his wife, or their child. Or, he looks confused in the stands of the gymnastics tournament because he's flabbergasted by the moves or trying to understand the scores...

They, too, went to see the American gymnasts in action. But rather than the red, white, and blue of Team USA, they chose black and dark grey like real, 'avant-garde' parisiennes. Ella Bleu even sported a beret.

All white for Salma Hayek, as she was part of the torch relay in the days before the Olympic Games. It was an honor that also befell Snoop Dogg, Jin from BTS, Halle Berry, Pharell Williams, and other stars.

The Chinese actress, born as Liu Shishi, came to see the gymnastics and pose for photos. The US and China lead the international medal table and the countries have come very close in the gymnastics category: 10 medals in total for the US and 9 for China.

The rapper's glasses have his trademark hourglasses in them. Otherwise, his outfit screams "water polo": he's even wearing a special polo cap!

Other celebrities present were Queen Latifah, Lewis Hamilton, Natalie Portman, and many others. Tom Cruise did a stunt at the closing ceremony and other American stars performed on an LA beach. They are ready to take over for 2028!
