Meet the woman who eats 34 burgers in 10 minutes

The hamburger restaurant 'Z-Burger', located in Washington, has been organizing one of those contests that the world, in general, and North Americans in particular, love to see: hamburger (speed) eating.

The premise is simple, the execution complicated: the person who eats the most hamburgers in 10 minutes, wins.

In the 15th edition of the contest, in 2024, the prize money consisted of 6,000 dollars distributed among the winners. The number one got 2,000 dollars.

And who has won? Well, the same person who has been the champion of the last 10 editions: Z-Burger legend Molly Schuyler.

Since 2016, this burger eater has imposed her reign on the competition and, year after year, she proves that her gobbling technique has been unsurpassed.

But how many hamburgers did the winner manage to eat? In this case, Molly Schuyler ate 34 hamburgers in the established 10 minutes.

Basically, the champion ate 3.4 hamburgers every minute, at a constant rate, and without fainting. It's a strange superpower but it certainly is one.

The contest has been gaining fame over the years. People from across the country and the world are curious to see who can take Molly Schuyler from her curious throne.

In fact, this year was the first time that someone came close to taking the record from her. A man called Dan 'Killer' Kennedy also ate 34 hamburgers! Both contestants had to share the prize and the honor for this year.
