The passing of Jaquelin Carrieri comes a few weeks after the world of fashion and beauty was shaken by the death of model and actress Silvina Luna. She also lost her life due to complications caused by poorly performed beauty treatments.

The news also comes just days after authorities confirmed that the 'Wild 'N' Out' star Jacky Oh had died from complications of a botched cosmetic surgery, back in May 2023.
While seemingly safe, cosmetic procedures can come with substantial health risks. Especially the operation to adjust the backside of a person, which happened in the case of Jacky Oh, can be dangerous. As it injects fat into someone's rear end, the procedure can block important blood vessels and cause tissue to die, Dr. Michael Obeng told People magazine.
It is uncertain whether Jaquelin Carrieri passed away after this particular operation, but we do know that the famous Kim Kardashian doppelganger Christina Ashten Gourkani died of a heart attack in April 2023 after undergoing a plastic surgery procedure to enlarge her behind.
Shortly after her death, People magazine reported that a woman was arrested in Florida for charges of involuntary manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license. She had been the one who had operated on Ashten before her death.
It is unclear so far, however, whether the Los Angeles clinic that operated on Argentinian actress Jaquelin Carrieri will face any scrutiny for the complications of the operation.
Carrieri, a model, actress, and entrepreneur, was crowned 'Queen of La Vendimia' in 1996. She represented the city of San Rafael in Argentina.

"A woman who possessed a talent, that of an actress, Jaquelin also owned a shop that closed its doors during the pandemic," the community of San Rafael Vendimia said in its statement. The store was "renowned for high fashion... She was in charge of dressing the queens of San Rafael, a task carried out for many years."

Naturally, several of his friends and acquaintances flooded her social media with a multitude of messages. “All of us who had the pleasure of knowing you and sharing a part of our lives with you know what a wonderful person you were," one of them wrote. "A beautiful woman in every sense, always with your smile and your glamour."
