Everyone wants more of a good thing

Some TV shows were so iconic that fans would absolutely love to see them reimagined (but not ruined). From '70s classics to more recent shows, here is a list of shows we are dying to see again. Do you agree? Would you add anymore to the list? Let us know in the comments...

'Manimal' (1983)

It was amazing to watch Professor Jonathan Chase transform into any animal to fight crime alongside NYC detective Brooke Mackenzie, his trusty partner. But sadly, there was only one season!

'The Golden Girls' (1985-1992)

In today’s world, with evolving social norms, it would be incredible to revisit this iconic show about four women over 50 living together and navigating life’s ups and downs... and no, we aren't talking about the 'S e x and the City' reboot.

'Mad About You' (1992-1999)

Paul and Jamie face the “real-life” challenges of marriage while trying to thrive in their careers. All this, with the added chaos of friends, family, and their lovable dog, Murray. Although it ran for seven seasons, we'd love to see more.

'Full House' (1987-1995)

Though we got a sequel with ‘Fuller House,’ this classic still deserves a full reboot. Widower Danny raises his three daughters with help from his brother-in-law Jesse and his goofy friend Joey. Though without Bob Saget, the cast would need a full re-do.

'21 Jump Street' (1987-1990)

This series introduced Johnny Depp’s talent to the world. He played Officer John Hanson, who, along with other young cops, went undercover in schools to solve crimes committed by students. Sure, we already got a movie reboot, but we want more TV.

'Fantasy Island' (1977-1974)

Who hasn’t dreamed of visiting a gorgeous island where all your wishes come true? That was the allure of ‘Fantasy Island,’ where Mr. Roarke and his assistant Tattoo made dreams a reality. In 1998, there was a one season revival.. but that was far too long ago.

'24' (2001-2010)

Agent Jack Bauer, played by Keifer Sutherland, serves the Counter Terrorist Unit and has exactly 24 hours to solve a high-stakes crisis caused by a criminal organization.

Everything meticulously planned

Each season was unique, with 24 episodes that spanned exactly one hour each. And although it was the longest running espionage-themed show and had one spin-off season, we demand to see just a few more days!

'The Wonder Years' (1988-1993)

Centered around teenager Kevin Arnold, the show captures his social life growing up in a typical American suburban family during the 1960s and 70s. If 'That 70s Show' got a reboot, why not this one?

'Small Wonder' (1985-1989)

Vicki is a humanoid robot disguised as a 10-year-old girl. She lives with a family led by Ted (Dick Christie), the engineer who created her, along with his wife Joan (Marla Pennington) and their son Jamie (Jerry Supiran). Together, they try to keep Vicki’s true identity a secret from their nosy neighbors.

An independent series

At the time, the show was produced independently with a limited budget, which explains the simple sets and basic special effects. Still, it delivered 96 delightful episodes — definitely deserving of a reboot!

'Charlie's Angels' (1976-1981)

The series followed the adventures of detectives Kelly (Jaclyn Smith), Sabrina (Kate Jackson), and Jill (Farrah Fawcett), with others joining later as replacements. They worked for the Charles Townsend Detective Agency, using their intelligence, beauty, and martial arts skills to solve cases. It's had movie reboots, which were highly successful, so why not more shows?

'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' (1997-2001)

Sarah Michelle Gellar starred as Buffy Summers, a young woman from a long line of supernaturally gifted “Slayers.” Her mission was to battle vampires, demons, and other dark forces, all while handling the everyday challenges of teenage life.

'The X-Files' (1993-2002)

Mystery lovers still long for this iconic series, starring David Duchovny as Agent Fox Mulder and Gillian Anderson as Agent Dana Scully. The two FBI agents investigated unsolved cases involving paranormal activity, known as X-files.

'The Bionic Woman' (1976-1978)

Lindsay Wagner played Jaime Sommers, a tennis pro who survives a skydiving accident thanks to a groundbreaking surgery that replaces parts of her body with bionic implants. This transformation leads her to a secret life as an undercover agent, posing as a schoolteacher.
