Jasmine Yen is Hong Kong’s latest ‘nepo baby’ as the daughter of Hong Kong actor and martial artist Donnie Yen. She has most recently started her own journey into showbiz and has taken up a different path than her father.
Born on January 19, 2004, Jasmine Yen is the daughter of actor Donnie Yen and actress Cissy Wang. She is the second of Donnie Yen’s three children.

Jasmine Yen’s father is Donnie Yen, as already mentioned. He is best known for being the star of the ‘Ip Man’ film franchise and most recently for his appearance alongside Keanu Reeves in ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ as the blind assassin Caine.
Jasmine Yen’s mother is Cissy Wang, who was once the winner of Miss Chinese Toronto in 2000, according to Fairchild TV. Since marrying Donnie Yen in 2003, Prestige Online reports that Cissy also doubles up as her husband’s manager.
According to an interview with The Straits Times, Jasmine Yen had been raised across Hong Kong and Shanghai. She had initially wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps in learning martial arts but was discouraged from doing so by her “overprotective” father.

Jasmine Yen has released her first single titled 'idk' in 2023. The song is a bilingual pop anthem, and Bandwagon says she purposefully wrote it in two languages as a tribute to her bilingual upbringing.
