Big names that were tragically snubbed...

Tom Cruise has led 'Top Gun: Maverick' to be the 11th highest-grossing film in history in a glorious sequel. A Best Actor nomination would have been more than fair.

Sadie Sink

Brendan Fraser's role in 'The Whale' cannot be understood without Ellie, the character played by Sadie Sink. Their on-screen chemistry is tremendous and the young actress deserved recognition, although it is true that the competition for Best Actress is fierce.

The Batman

Neither Robert Pattinson, Matt Reeves, nor 'TheBatman' has gotten any nomination, despite it being one of the films of the year. A very odd omittance.

The Northman

Another one of the films of the year, 'The Northman,' has its hands empty, even though it has a marvelous cast led by Alexander Skarsgard and seconded by Anya Taylor-Joy or Ethan Hawke.

Considine in 'House of the Dragon'

The actor has given one of the performances of the year with his King Viserys in 'House of the Dragon', but it was not enough to get a Golden Globe nomination.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

Even worse has been the outcome for the most expensive series in history. 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' has received a whopping zero Golden Globe nominations. This is a serious setback for a drama series that has cost 1 billion dollars.

Stranger things

The fourth season of 'Stranger Things' has been crazy in the best of ways, and it is arguably the best so far. Yet, it received no nomination at all.

Rhea Seehorn

We end with Rhea Seehorn, who got better with each season of 'Better Call Saul' and, despite this, remains without a nomination even in the last season of the series.
