Internet star dies after giving birth, newborn in coma

Social media influencers and followers are in mourning, as the German internet star Tatjana Klingler died at the age of 23 while giving birth to her first child. The baby boy went into a coma.

Thorsten, the German TikToker's husband, posted the news of her death on Instagram: "Our son Joshua Herbert Klingler was born. But, unfortunately, his mother and my beloved wife had to leave us. She couldn't make it, and it leaves a huge void in our hearts."

Thorsten also indicated on Instagram that, although his son survived the birth, he had to go into an induced coma to stabilize his vital functions.

"Little Joshua is in an induced coma and we hope he recovers," Thorsten told his followers. Then he said to his son: "I need to tell you that you had a wonderful mother."

Of course, Tatjana's death shocked her nearly 14,000 followers on TikTok. She had documented her entire pregnancy there. In fact, she and her husband, to whom she had only been married for two and a half months, were happily awaiting the birth of their son.

Just a few days ago, Tatjana went to the hospital to have her son. In one of her last videos on TikTok, she explained that her labor was going to have to be induced. However, things did not go as expected.

According to the German Aussiedlerbote news portal, the influencer died due to a rare rupture of membranes during childbirth. This caused amniotic fluid to enter her bloodstream and her going into cardiac arrest.

The news of Tatjana's death has sparked an outpouring of support and solidarity for Thorsten and her son: "Neither she nor her son ever had the opportunity to see, touch or smell each other even once in their lives," the TikToker's family wrote.

In fact, the family is asking for financial support for the baby's care. They confirm that Tatjana died of an "amniotic fluid embolism, an extremely rare and unpredictable condition."

So far, the family has managed to raise about 15 thousand dollars for the little boy, trying to get his treatment and some of his future covered.
