Guess whether your idol is a dog person or a cat person
Cats and dogs are people's best friends. Still, some of us have a clear preference for one animal, and some exclusively live with the other. The same goes for celebrities. Do you know which stars are 'cat people' and who are 'dog persons'?
Let's start with a cat person: Robert Downey Jr. He is known for being a real animal lover, and this cutie on his lap is named Helen Rose.

Tom Hardy is more of a dog person, and he constantly proves it on his social media with photos of his dogs. In this photo, we can see him with his faithful friend Woody at the premiere of 'Legend' in 2015. Sadly, Woody passed away a few years ago, leaving Tom Hardy devastated.
Drew Barrymore is a cat lover. She usually posts videos and pictures of kittens on her Instagram account. In this picture, we can see her sharing the bed with a very comfy Lucky.

Here's another dog person: Tom Holland. In the picture, we see him with the beautiful Tessa at the premiere of 'Dolittle' in London.
Ed Sheeran is a major cat lover. He even opened an Instagram account for his cats Dorito and Calippo. It's called @thewibbles and you can see the day-to-day life of Sheeran's cute kitties. In the photo, we see Ed singing a song to a feline fan.
In 2020, Orlando Bloom shared a photo of his new puppy, Buddy, on Instagram. He immediately added that no one would be able to replace his previous dog, Mighty, who had passed away in July of the same year.

Katy Perry, for her part, is a big kitty lover, so we think that the Perry/Bloom household must be very lively with cats and dogs running around.

Ricky Gervais is a real cat lover. Once, he took in a cat to be adopted but he failed in the mission. So he decided to keep the cute pet for himself and named it Pickle. Since then, he often appears with his buddy Pickle on Instagram.

Joe and Jill Biden are dog people, and it's very normal to see them sharing moments with their dog, Commander, around the White House.
During a 2020 campaign rally in Pennsylvania, a kitten spontaneously jumped onto the stage with Joe Biden. After the incident, the Bidens decided to adopt the little animal and named it Willow. In January 2023, the president told USA Today that Willow has "no limits" and that she sometimes even sleeps on top of his head.

Taylor Swift is another cat lover. She told Parade magazine that she is "obsessed with them. I love my cats so much that when a role came up in a movie called Cats, I just thought, like, I gotta do this." Some of her cats' names are Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button.
Rachel from 'Friends' is an animal lover, and she specifically likes dogs. In the picture, she is with Lord Chesterfield while the dog is still a little puppy. She also has two other dogs named Clyde and Sophie.

'Blossom' star Mayim Bialik is a cat lover and has three of them: Addie, Frances, and Nermal. In an interview for Today, she said: "My cats saw me through a divorce. They saw me through the loss of my father. My cats know when I cry. And they comfort me."
Paris Hilton is known to be a dog lover because she usually takes her little creatures everywhere. They are usually Chihuahuas or other small breeds.
Nicole Kidman loves cats, as we can see in this image, but she's also a fan of dogs. In the picture, she presents Julian, Ginger, and Louis to us.
