It's a boy! The eventful life of Daniel Radcliffe after Harry Potter

The eternal Harry Potter is a father now! It must feel to him like the role of his life, even though most of us continue to think of him as the young magician that conquered the world in the early 2000s.

As the boy with the lightning scar and the tousled black hair, Daniel Radcliffe conjured up all hearts on the cinema screen. Now, several years after the Harry Potter saga based on the books by JK Rowling, Radcliffe is still active as an actor, although the image of the magic student has long lingered on him. Daniel Radcliffe was born on July 23, 1989, in Fulham, London, England. His parents are literary agent Alan George Radcliffe and casting agent Marcia Jeannine Gresham.

His first TV appearance was already magical, at the age of 10, Radcliffe plays the young David Copperfield in the English TV production of the same name.

The first cinema appearance follows only two years later alongside Jamie Lee Curtis and Geoffrey Rush in 'The Tailor from Panama.'

As he told The Hollywood Reporter: "When I finished Potter..., I always said that I wanted to be the kind of actor that keeps his roles interesting enough that when you’ve got something coming out, people go, ‘Oh, he’s in that, he always makes interesting choices.'"

Among Radcliffe's recent roles was the portrayal of California musician 'Weird Al' Yankovic in the 2022 biopic released by streaming provider The Roku Channel.

Around the same time, in the Sandra Bullock - Channing Tatum blockbuster 'The Lost City,' Radcliffe played an eccentric billionaire, Abigail Fairfax, who was trying to find an ancient treasure. His portrayal of the young man's erratic behavior was one of the highlights of the action comedy.
