The story behind Jennifer Aniston's number 11 tattoo
Jennifer Aniston has been very open these past few years about her relationship with the number 11. Let's take a look at what the number 11 means to her, and also the life of the very special man she said goodbye to.
In 2018, Jennifer Aniston first showed off her new tattoo in a photo on the Internet, an 11:11 on the inside of her left wrist. But what did it mean?
In 2020, People reported that she chose the tattoo because "she's very spiritual, the number 11 is also special to her because of her birthday, and her late dog Norman."
Jennifer was born on February 11th, 1969. Her beloved dog Norman, whom she called "her son," passed away in the year 2011. Her first tattoo was his name on the inside of her foot.
Aniston is as well known for being quite spiritual. In the world of numerology, 11:11 has a very profound meaning of synchronicity or that it can signal a spiritual presence.
John Aniston, Jennifer's father, passed on 11/11/2022 at the age of 89. He was a distinguished actor, most known for his recurring role on the soap opera 'Days of Our Lives.'
On her official Instagram account, Jennifer Aniston expressed her pain through the following message: "Sweet dad… John Anthony Aniston. You were one of the most beautiful humans I have ever met. I am so grateful that you took to heaven in peace and without pain. And 11/11 no less! You always had the perfect moment. That number will always have even greater meaning to me now."
Jennifer's father, John Aniston, made a huge mark on the acting world. Born in Greece, he moved with his family to the US when he was a child.
He studied Theater Arts at Pennsylvania State University and later served in the Army and the Navy, rising to Lieutenant Commander. In this image, he is seen with his daughter, Jennifer.
