A year after the singer and her husband, soccer player Gerard Piqué, officially announced their breakup, and a little more than a month after settling in Miami, Shakira returns to the city where she spent much of her recent years: Barcelona.

The reason? To hand over her children to her ex, as it is now his turn to spend some time with Milan and Sasha. But there was more she had planned in the city...

While she was there, Shakira also made an appearance at the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix. It further fueled the rumors of a new romance between the Colombian singer and Lewis Hamilton.

According to local media reports, upon her arrival in Barcelona, Shakira went to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, in Montmeló, to meet Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes box.

Although neither of the two has made a statement of intent, this would be the third time in recent months that Shakira and Lewis Hamilton have met... publicly, that is.

And, although the TMZ portal assures that there is nothing romantic between them and everything is just a simple friendship, Lewis Hamilton said in the middle of an interview during the Barcelona Grand Prix: "I need to find myself a Latina." A possible wink to Shakira that, of course, did not go unnoticed.

It is clear that Shakira keeps making international news, and not only because of her new songs, like 'Acrostico'...

She's also making headlines because of the images that emerged of her afternoon with Lewis Hamilton in Miami, in May 2023. According to the international press, they suggest a second date for the singer with the Formula 1 driver.

The images have gone around the world. As we can see, the 46-year-old artist and the 38-year-old racer spent some time together accompanied by friends and Shakira's brother Tonino.

Although for now, neither of them has made statements about it, some media indicate that Lewis Hamilton could be interested in conquering the heart of the Colombian star.

After her separation from the Spanish soccer star Piqué, and the big hits she composed about it, she is an elegible bachelorette.

The alleged romantic date occurred in Miami, a few days after the couple was seen having dinner in a restaurant in the same city.

They met after Hamilton completed the Grand Prix of Miami on Sunday May 7. The British racer, a former world champion, had made it to sixth position.

Shakira and Hamilton were spotted going sailing with a group of friends. In the images, Shakira arrives accompanied by a friend and her brother Tonino, while Hamilton waits for her on the boat and happily greets the singer's brother.

No one can deny it, Shakira looks radiant and happy during her getaway. It is worth mentioning that her children Milan and Sasha stayed at home.

For now, the Colombian star does not confirm or deny the rumors of her dates with Hamilton. The same goes for her meeting with Tom Cruise at the F1 Grand Prix in Miami on Sunday, May 7.

For the moment, Shakira has not repeated her date with the protagonist of 'Top Gun', 14 years her senior. They had gone to the Miami GP together and turned many heads.

She did go on intimate dates with Lewis Hamilton, though. It could be a clue about her prefence for the racer.

It wouldn't be surprising if she fell, once again, for a successful athlete. Piqué had won the World Cup with the Spanish team and several other prizes with his team FC Barcelona. For Lewis Hamilton, a comparable level of succes had been achieved in Formula 1.

What we know for sure is that Shakira is enjoying her new single life. Besides her new musical successes and new releases, she is trying to rebuild her life away from Barcelona and Piqué, her ex-partner of 12 years.

According to information from the newspaper 'El Mundo', the singer would not be interested in the Hollywood heartthrob, Tom Cruise. "The artist is not interested in having anything romantic with Tom. She does not want to go out with him," a source close to the pop star said.

However, the source added, she wasn't interested in "anyone else" either, "because she is focused on her children and her career... For now."
