"You’re not going to believe this!" he wrote to his followers. "Was on my way to an appointment yesterday when I collapsed in my kitchen."
"Six massive heart attacks later, and being brought back from dead 4 times I apparently had a 100% blockage in my LAD (Left Anterior Descending Artery)."
Mark Sheppard also stated that his "chances of survival were virtually nil." It's remarkable and almost miraculous that he escaped death.
The events occurred in the first weekend of December 2023 in the British actor's home in Los Angeles. His luck was that his wife, Sarah Louise Fudge, was there.

"If not for my wife, the @losangelesfiredepartment at Mulholland and the incredible staff at @providencecalifornia St. Joseph’s — I wouldn’t be writing this," he says on Instagram.
Despite the scare, Mark Sheppard is already at home. "I feel great. Humbled once more. Home tomorrow!" he predicted from the hospital.
