Blake Lively, in a chic white Michael Kors outfit, presented the Positive Change Award to the designer. According to Harper's Bazaar magazine, highlighted his charity work with the World Food Program and Watch Hunger Stop.

Erykah Badu's award as a fashion icon

Singer and songwriter Erykah Badu received the Fashion Icon Award. According to Esquire magazine, the artist surprised the audience with her unique signature style, accompanied on stage by André 3000.

The Canadian supermodel enjoyed posing on the red carpet in this feather-trimmed denim ensemble by Kobi Halperin, which she styled with dark blue eye makeup for a perfect match.

The CFDA Awards' contribution to future designers

Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA, noted that the awards are the biggest fundraiser of the year. Its goal is to support future generations of designers through its scholarship fund, according to Deadline.
