Stunning looks from the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards

The 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards were held at the iconic American Museum of Natural History in New York, where celebrities and designers gathered to celebrate the best of American fashion.

According to Deadline, this year the CFDA Board of Directors renamed its award in honor of Isabel Toledo, the renowned Cuban-American designer. The council posthumously awarded the Isabel Toledo Board of Directors' Tribute to her husband, Ruben Toledo.

Blake Lively, in a chic white Michael Kors outfit, presented the Positive Change Award to the designer. According to Harper's Bazaar magazine, highlighted his charity work with the World Food Program and Watch Hunger Stop.

Singer and songwriter Erykah Badu received the Fashion Icon Award. According to Esquire magazine, the artist surprised the audience with her unique signature style, accompanied on stage by André 3000.

Actress Cynthia Erivo hosted the event. The singer also wore a custom Gap outfit created by Zac Posen, in honor of her upcoming role in 'Wicked', where she will play Elphaba, Vogue Business reported.

Iconic photographer Annie Leibovitz has been honored with the Media Award honoring Eugenia Shepard, presented by Anna Wintour, in recognition of her visual impact on fashion.

Raul Lopez, founder of Luar, was awarded American Accessory Designer of the Year, consolidating his influence in American fashion.

Troye Sivan wore a full ensemble by Willy Chavarria. Esquire reported that the designer won the American Menswear Designer of the Year award, highlighting his political and creative approach to menswear.

Stuart Vevers, creative director of Coach, has won the Amazon Innovation Award, according to Vogue. He earned this award for his work with Coachtopia, an initiative focused on sustainability and circularity in fashion.

Vogue Global Editor Hamish Bowles has been presented with the Founder's Award in honor of Eleanor Lambert. The award recognizes her influence on the fashion industry and was presented by Marc Jacobs.

Designer Tommy Hilfiger was also present at the event. During his walk on the red carpet, he posed alongside Dee Hilfiger and Loren Ridinger.

The Canadian supermodel enjoyed posing on the red carpet in this feather-trimmed denim ensemble by Kobi Halperin, which she styled with dark blue eye makeup for a perfect match.

Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA, noted that the awards are the biggest fundraiser of the year. Its goal is to support future generations of designers through its scholarship fund, according to Deadline.
