'Take this, you YouTube people!' - Ariana Grande passes a lie detector test
As a star, you are in the public eye - and are viewed with particular skepticism. This is also the case with singer Ariana Grande, who is repeatedly accused of having undergone cosmetic surgery. But now she has taken a lie detector test...
The test was carried out by the US magazine Vanity Fair - and Ariana Grande seemed pleased to finally be able to confirm her truth.
Ariana Grande had repeatedly asserted that she had not had any cosmetic surgery. Did the test confirm her truth in this matter?
The questions were asked by Cynthia Erivo, with whom Ariana Grande can currently be seen in the film 'Wicked'.
Erivo asked Grande if she had had surgery on her nose, chin, or bust. Grande repeatedly answered "no."
And indeed, the lie detector test confirmed that Grande was telling the truth. So she really hasn't had any plastic surgery.
Grande triumphantly commented on this result: "Take this, you YouTube people!" She directly addressed the viral videos spreading rumors about her alleged operations.
Although she has not had a facelift yet, Grande is not completely opposed to it, she says.
That means she is opposed to cosmetic surgery but that certain, less invasive procedures are fine with the singer. She has already had Botox and filler treatments done in the past, Grande claims, but now, she no longer does that.
To test whether the lie detector was really working, Ariana Grande told a lie for the last question. When asked if she had lifted her backside, she answered "yes", even though that's not true. The device showed that this answer was a lie. The stars from 'Wicked' therefore hope they have finally ended all the rumors about Ariane Grande's fabulous looks.
