The best looks of Charlotte Casiraghi, Princess Caroline's daughter
Charlotte Casiraghi is the daughter of Caroline, Princess of Monaco, and the granddaughter of legendary actress Grace Kelly. A model, journalist, philosopher, and equestrian, among other titles, she is most obviously stepping up as the contemporary queen of French chic. Let’s see some of her best looks that ooze effortless elegance.
At the Montblanc 100th anniversary gala dinner, Charlotte shone in a gold brocade Gucci gown with select Montblanc jewels. And Hugh Jackson... in that photo, it’s more like WHO Jackson?
Understated hair and makeup are two of the signatures of French fashion, and Charlotte does it as well as anyone else. Here, she wears a loose bun and just enough makeup at the Chanel Cruise 2017/2018 Collection debut in Paris.
Less than a year after having her first baby, she was looking extremely elegant at a 2014 Paris Fashion Week event. She wore a stunning white statuesque dress from the 2015 Gucci Resort collection.
Next to her husband Dimitri Rassam, Charlotte was pure glamor in this silky harness gown paired with diamond accessories. She wore this gorgeous ensemble to the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. The strappy back was stunning too.
In 2014, Charlotte went iconically understated to the Gucci Paris Masters equestrian event. She made her blue jeans just the right amount of glam with a red suede jacket in kimono style, a black turtleneck, and a Gucci purse.
Speaking of horses, one of her most iconic fashion moments was riding a horse on the runway during the Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2022 show as part of Paris Fashion Week in 2022.
While this look split some royal observers, others found it devastatingly chic. In Spring 2023, she wore a long Chanel overcoat with a black maxi dress. But the real kicker was the chunky bright red shoes that matched her lipstick. Her hair was pulled back in a loose bun.
She attended the premier of the film ‘Killers of the Flower’ at Cannes wearing a stunning embellished Channel dress. Her husband couldn’t keep his eyes off her.
Right before the pandemic broke out, she embraced a more masculine look with an oversized navy blazer, green button-down shirt, and plaid pants. The bandana was a perfect accessory to complement the more casual look.
In these two images, Charlotte puts glam twists on more basic outfits. To the left, she adds a gold bomber, to the left an argyle touch turns the outfit from so-so to fashion-forward.
This look was at the 2018 Bal de la Rose, where she announced her engagement to her husband with a pretty huge engagement ring. While this look is bold, the color palette keeps it paired down.
A key part of the French chic style is to look nonchalant, but are secretly taking care of your look. This 2019 look epitomizes that vibe, as her hair and skin are flawless and her outfit would fit in on a Parisian cafe. Also, note the bangs and changing hairstyle. Even if it may not seem like it, she’s always on or setting trends.
Charlotte donned this stunning pastel Gucci gown to the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles in 2017. Pairing it with that perfect necklace and beachy waves, this look really helped solidify her place on the fashion goddess map.
Even among some of the most iconic names in fashion, Charlotte stands out in this 2017 Rose Ball alongside her brother Pierre Casiraghi and sister-in-law Beatrice Borromeo, as well as her mom, Princess Caroline of Hanover, and Karl Lagerfeld.
Here’s another spectacular formal look. This one is from the 2017 Opening Season Gala for the Paris Opera. She’s dressed in designer Giambattista Valli.
