Pamela Anderson's romances: important men in her life
Thanks to her cheerful nature and striking beauty, Pamela Anderson has always been one of the most desired women in show business. She's lived through multiple relationships, marriages, and, unfortunately, disappointments in love. Let's have a look at her romantic history.
For those who don't remember, Pamela Anderson is a pop culture icon. She made 14 covers of P l 4 y b o y magazine and acted in more than 40 films apart from the iconic series 'Baywatch.'
Her personal life and love affairs have always been of interest to the press. One of the important men in her life has been Jon Peters. He and Pam have known each other - and dated off and on - for over 30 years. Anderson met Peters at the P l 4 y b o y Mansion when she had just moved to Los Angeles to realize her dream of becoming an actress. The producer is 22 years older than her.
Jon Peters was often Pamela Anderson's rebound lover after the actress's bitter breakups. And there were several of those...
One of her many relationships was in 1994 with Bret Michaels, the lead singer of Poison. It was the first proof that she had a taste for rock 'n' roll guys.
The short relationship produced an intimate tape which didn't become known until 11 years after Michaels and Anderson broke up. This video did not circulate much, however, because the couple managed to block its spread.
In February 1995, Pamela Anderson met Tommy Lee, the drummer and founder of rock group Mötley Crüe. She decided to marry him after they'd known each other for only 96 hours.
The famous couple celebrated their wedding on the beaches of Cancun, Mexico. There were some friends, she wore a white bikini instead of a gown, and they had tattoos instead of rings to seal their bond.
Lee and Anderson became the protagonists of one of the first internet sex tape scandals of Hollywood. A video of the couple was stolen and leaked to the web. The video would be the most downloaded item on the internet for a long time.
After the rocky start of the fast wedding and sex tape scandal, Anderson and Lee had two children: Brandon Thomas Lee on June 6, 1996, and Dylan Jagger Lee on December 29, 1997.
Soon, the marriage became a rollercoaster. Pamela asked for a divorce twice but then reconciled with Tommy again. The couple made headlines many times because she accused him of abuse.
In February 1998, the divorce became official and Tommy Lee was sentenced to six months in prison and three years of probation for kicking his wife while she was holding his youngest son.
In 2022, the series 'Pam & Tommy' came out, recounting the scandal of their leaked video and its aftermath.

After going through a painful divorce with Tommy Lee, Pamela Anderson was seen posing happily and in love with Swedish actor and model Marcus Schenkenberg.
The couple remained engaged for a year and although they managed to keep a quiet relationship away from controversy, it did not get any further. In 2001 the couple officially separated and Pamela Anderson explained that she was looking for "something different."
Soon after her breakup with Schenkenberg, Anderson began a relationship with singer Kid Rock (Robert J. Ritchie). They got engaged in 2002. Anderson appeared happy to be on the side of a 'bad boy' again.
The couple stayed together for a year, then they announced their breakup. However, the passion and chemistry between them did not end there. The couple surprised the world in July 2006 with a wedding on a yacht in Saint Tropez. Once again, Pamela wore a white bikini.
Yet, the marriage didn't last long. Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock separated in November of the same year. "Unfortunately it was impossible," Anderson told the press, in the midst of rumors that she had had a miscarriage.
In 2007, Kid Rock broke the silence about the alleged miscarriage. El País reports that he accused Pamela of lying about it to the outside world.
"She told me she'd just had a miscarriage and hung up on me," he told Rolling Stone magazine. The singer reportedly got on a flight to Vancouver, where his wife was staying, and "when I got there, I found her partying in a restaurant, drinking and jumping up and down on the tables."
They say Pamela Anderson and Ray J went out a couple of times, but the couple appeared unable to connect. Their dates have almost been forgotten.
In 2007, Pamela Anderson surprised the world again: she married poker player Rick Salomon. Initially, the newly-weds posed comfortably and happily for the paparazzi.
Their wedding, which had taken place in Las Vegas, was annulled two months later.
A mutual friend of Anderson and Tommy Lee, Criss Angel, soon appeared as yet another of the actress's fleeting loves. She stayed with him for a few months after her failed marriage to Rick Salomon, but the relationship didn't last.
Several other famous actors and singers supposedly had a love affair with the actress in the past two decades. Examples are Ben Affleck, Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit, and Scott Baio (in the image).
However, Anderson never revealed the full list of boyfriends - for the sake of her own (and their) privacy.
In May 2017, Anderson began a relationship with French football player Adil Rami, who was 18 years younger than her. The actress and the Olympique Marseille star appeared happy at many events and red carpets. The sensational love affair lasted a little more than two years.
Anderson shocked the entertainment world in the summer of 2019, however, when she announced her breakup with Rami on Instagram while also accusing the football star of having a parallel relationship with another woman.
"The last two years of my life have been a lie," she wrote. "I was scammed, I'm devastated."
Anderson's next marriage was with her 'rebound lover,' Jon Peters. However, together they managed to break a new record.
The couple separated just 12 days after celebrating their union. Incidentally, it has not been entirely clear whether their marriage, taking place in Malibu, was ever official at all.

The termination of Anderson and Peters' "marriage" was not amicable. While the actress had said that the separation was a mutual decision, Peters accused her of using the wedding to pay off her debts.
"I gave up everything for Pam," the producer said to Page Six. "She owed $200,000 in bills and had no way to pay them. So I did it and this is the thanks I got. There's no fool like an old fool."
With the Jon Peters debacle included, Anderson had four ex-husbands, including Tommy Lee, Marcus Schenkenberg, Kid Rock, and Rick Salomon (whom she married twice). The Peters marriage is uncertain, so it might actually have been five ex-husbands in six marriages.
On Christmas Eve 2020, Pamela Anderson secretly tied the know again... with her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst! A month later, they announced the news in the media. For Pamela Anderson, Dan Hayhurst was her fifth (or possibly sixth) husband.
According to the Huffington Post, the two reportedly fell in love at the beginning of the lockdown during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. It quotes Pamela Anderson as saying "This one year together has felt like seven - like dog years."
The marriage didn't last, however. It took seven dog years, or one human year, to dissolve.
As an insider told People Magazine: "Pamela went into this relationship hopefully. She goes into everything hoping for the best. She thinks every marriage will be her last."
Pamela Anderson now seems to have withdrawn from all the hassle, though. She appears in the occasional public event, for example with her son, Brandon Lee, and makes a point of not wearing too much makeup and focusing on internal beauty rather than the surface.
