Even billionaires are still looking for their soulmates

Finding true love isn’t easy, even when you’re rich. Maybe incomprehensible wealth can make dating even more challenging when trying to avoid golddiggers. But these billionaires are much more than their money; they are humans too... many of them interesting, attractive, smart and maybe even kind.

MacKenzie Scott: $26.6 billion (Forbes)

Jeff Bezos’ former wife became one of the richest people on earth after the divorce. In 2021, she married her children’s former science teacher, but the couple officially split in Jan. 2023, meaning she’s available once again. Bezos, on the other hand, still appears to be with TV personality Lauren Sanchez.

Gustav Magnar Witzøe: $2.7 billion (Forbes)

Oozing money and good looks, this heir to a Norwegian salmon empire, Salmar ASA, already owns half the company. He’s reportedly been more focused on his career than his love life as of late.

Kim Kardashian: $1.2 billion (Forbes)

This gorgeous businesswoman is an open book, having spent much of her adult life followed around by cameras. After splitting with Kanye and Pete Davidson, the mother-of-four is currently single.

Elon Musk: $184.7 billion (Forbes)

The richest man in the world (again) has a notoriously complicated love life. He’s been divorced three times, has 10 children, and was in an open relationship with Grimes, but he currently appears to be single and ready to mingle.

Miranda Qu: $1.8 billion (Forbes)

Miranda Qu is the co-founder and president of Shanghai-based social and commercial company Xiaohongshu, which has more than 200 million users. This self-made billionaire is in her late 30s and still reportedly single.

John Collison: $5.5 billion (Forbes)

This Irish tech billionaire cofounded the payment system Stripe with his brother Patrick. While Patrick got married to his childhood sweetheart, Swiss scientist Silvana Konermann in 2022, John is still on the market.

Tyler Perry: $1 billion (Forbes)

This Hollywood tycoon is one of the industry’s top earners. But he’s still looking for love after splitting with his long-term girlfriend, Gelila Bekele. In 2021, he posted on Twitter: “This is what a midlife crisis looks like. I’m 51, single and wondering what the next chapter in my life will look like.”

Diane Hendricks: $13.7 billion (Forbes)

The richest self-made woman in America, Hendricks founded the roofing business ABC Supply alongside her husband in 1982. When he died in 2007, she took over full control. She has seven children and has not remarried.

Nicholas Berggruen: $3.1 billion (Forbes)

The son of a wealthy art collector, he has also made his own cash through luxury real estate, investments and founded his own think tank. A stubborn bachelor, the 60+-year-old has never married but had two children via egg donors and surrogates.

Jack Dorsey: $4.8 billion (Forbes)

The Twitter founder and current CEO of payments company Block (formerly Square) is also a certified masseuse and has dabbled in fashion design. While he’s had several relationships, he hasn’t yet tied the knot.

Laurene Powell Jobs: $12.5 billion (Forbes)

She inherited the bulk of her fortune through her late husband, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. Although she was rumored to have been dating Michelin Star chef Daniel Humm back in 2019, it was never confirmed, and she has not remarried.

Brian Chesky: $9.3 billion (Forbes)

The co-founder of AirBnB and former bodybuilder comes from a humble background as the son of two social workers. Although he’s been linked with artist Elissa Patel, they haven’t been publicly seen together much lately, and his closest relationship appears to be with his dog Sophie Supernova.

Melinda French Gates: $6.3 billion (Forbes)

Bill Gates' former wife is one of the most powerful women in philanthropy, still co-chairing their foundation. The couple split in 2021. And while Bill is reportedly dating Paula Herd, Melinda has yet to confirm any new boyfriend.

Ken Griffin: $32.6 billion (Forbes)

Griffen founded and runs the Miami-based hedge fund Citadel and has a passion for collecting high-end real estate. He’s been divorced twice, and his more recent split has been a highly publicized mess. But if you’re willing to overlook that drama, he is available.

Serra Sabanci: $1 billion (Forbes)

A member of one of Turkey’s richest families, her father was gunned down outside his office in Istanbul in 1996. She was also married to Birol Aktan for five years in the 1990s but has reportedly remained single ever since.
