Wolf Webster: the baby name fiasco of Kylie Jenner
On February 2, 2022, Kylie Jenner had her second child with Travis Scott. The baby boy's name was Wolf... or so we thought! As it turns out, after about 7 weeks, Jenner hated the name. Then, it took her a year to reveal the new one! Read on for the full story...
After the baby was born, Kylie had waited a while to announce his name and gender. Fans had deduced from the blue heart next to his birth date that the new Jenner baby was a boy.

And they were right. After a few weeks, Kylie Jenner announced that the little sibling of Stormi (in this picture) was a boy and that his name was Wolf Webster.

Kylie, here with her mother Kris Jenner, later surprised fans and followers with the announcement that she changed her mind about the baby's name and that he is no longer Wolf.
"FYI," she posted on Instagram, "our sons name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just really didn't feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere."
An insider had told E! News that the couple were "having to get back into the swing of things like having to be up at all hours of the night and accommodating two kids at the same time." It's difficult to have a young baby, even for millionaires.
Initially, fans had thought the beauty mogul had named the child Angel. During her baby shower, Kylie had written "Angel baby" on an embroidery craft. She also used the angel emoji in the caption on the post.
With the addition of Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's second child, the number of Kardashian grandchildren went to 11. In 2023, that number became 12.

During an episode of 'The Kardashians,' she admitted that she chose the name in a panic after he was born. “We put Wolf Webster in that moment, and right after I signed the birth certificate, I was like, ‘What did I just do?’” she said, adding she cried in the shower after the decision.

“The advice I would give to you is find your name before your hormones start raging and you have the child,” she said. “It was the hormones that took me out. It was like, ‘I’m too emotional, he’s so special to me. There’s not a name good enough for him.’”

When Jenner was pregnant with Stormi, she chose to keep the pregnancy private, limiting her public appearances and announcing the news once she had given birth, in contrast to the second.
However, it was different with Wolf. Kylie's fans were thrilled that she shared her pregnancy and growing belly with them on Instagram. Her photos were hugely popular, with some receiving more than 14 million likes.

Even though many media outlets were speculating about Kylie's pregnancy in August 2021, Jenner did not confirm the news until September 8. She did so with a beautiful video that began with a positive pregnancy test and included a beaming Stormi and Travis Scott. The video exceeded 158 million views.
The little boy is precisely four years and one day younger than his big sister Stormi Webster, who was born on February 1, 2018.
A year after the fiasco, she announced the baby's new name - Aire Webster. “I’m going to do Aire Webster. A-I-R-E,” she said on the reality show, adding that it’s a Hewbew name that means ‘Lion of God.’
On her friend Stassie Karanikolau's Instagram Live, the businesswoman surprised everyone by proclaiming that she wanted "seven children in the future."

Of course, she did not say it lightly and acknowledged that "pregnancy is not something to be joked about. It is a serious and complicated thing." It is incredible how the lives of these two young girls in the photo have changed in the last decade.
In Jan. 2023, the power couple officially split after five years together. Although their relationship was a bit on-again off-again, it is rumored that they are now dating other people.
