It's the talk of the office and social media, again: Love Island. The competition is heating up and, in the show's true nature, more young men and women are joining to stir up the competition! Read about the Love Islanders and their lives before the show.

You can watch an hour episode of Love Island every day of the week on ITV2 at 9.00pm, except for Saturdays. You can also catch the show's live broadcast via the channel's streaming service ITV Hub. On the same platform you can catch up any episode of the series.

Danny Bibby was dropped into the show - a 25 year old from Wigan. He is certainly looking to take control, having said, "The guys need an alpha male and I feel like that's me." One to watch this season, Danny seems to have an extensive range of skills - he is a plumber and clothing brand owner all in one.

Despite feeling the need to dominate, he has had a strong connection to his family and his Instagram is proof of that. He looked so young with longer, curlier hair, too!

AJ has told Love Island audiences that she is here to 'teach the men a lesson' as she has been 'messed around' by guys in the past. She is a 28 year old hair extension technician from Hertfordshire.

Although AJ is in favour of a more airbrushed look these days, take a look back at her more natural look that shows her soft freckles. A natural beauty.

A financial consultant from Manchester. With a talent for posing. 26 year old Teddy has decided it's now time for him to find love and has professed he is taking the show 'seriously'.

Teddy was on track to be a well known model/influencer even before Love Island snapped him up. His Insta is full of posed pics showing off his style and good looks. This was the look he went for as he stepped out into the deserted streets in October 2020.

21 year old Lucinda joined the Love Island cast so that she can 'turn heads'. Well, it's a goal. She is an online fashion boutique owner and she seems to be doing quite well at it, promoting her line on social media and being a motivation for her 65k fans.

She has done well with her entrepreneurship; although, it helps that her dad is wealthy and owns a luxury car dealership. She is often seen sharing pics of her posing in some mighty fine cars.

Essex fashion buyer for ASOS in Camden, Millie, is looking to find love after a year of being single. She's fun and quirky. When asked what her party trick was, her response was that she has a really long tongue.

Millie Court has chosen her collaborations on Instagram well and has always showed off her great style and figure. She has a degree from Ravensbourne University in London where she studied Fashion Buying and Brand Management.

The oldest islander at 29 years old, travel specialist Rachel Finni joined the show to look for some company. Just for company though. She had made it very clear that she didn't NEED a man for anything. She got dumped from the show and said, ‘Honestly, I would beg to go in. If you want to send me back in at any point, I’d do it. I’d be unapologetic, strong and forthright.’ Yikes.

Before she was a contestant on this year's Love Island, she was already hanging out in some pretty well-known celebrity hideouts, such as Gilgamesh London and Corinthia London. Rachel hasn't changed much although she has straightened her hair...

Liam Reardon, a Welsh bricklayer, joined the show and stole ladies hearts everywhere. Just like many of the other islanders, he is said to be taking the show seriously and wants to find a special someone.

Liam comes across as a real sweetheart in his Instagram. But yes, he has had a trip to the island of fun once before, in April 2018, where he can be seen having some fun with his friends. The chap always looks brown and always has a smile on his face, but has definitely filled out that torso in the last three years. All that bricklaying.

In the show simply to 'experience something' after a year of boredom left Faye willing for excitement to come. The 26 year old from Devon is a lettings manager and is looking for someone along the lines of Zac Efron!

Faye Winter has been brutally honest about her surgeries and often joked about the botox, lip fillers and great cosmetic surgery she has undergone. In fact, she has already collaborated with a lip filler company who are using her images to promote their services. Previous to the surgeries though, she sported a thinner lip and a more tousled hair do.

Toby Aromolaran is a 22 year old from Essex. He is a semi-professional footballer who plays for Essex-based Hashtag United.

He seems to be level-headed and responsible but has a competitive streak... “Personally, I’m a winner. I play football, which is a competitive sport. It’s not just a game. It’s for the position and the team. I’ve been competing my whole life. I’m a winner, I don’t like losing. I’m not a sore loser but I like to win.”

Financial services marketing exec Chloe is from Bicester and is in the show to just see what happens. In fact, she told interviewers she joined, well, because 'why not?'.

Chloe has proved she has a fun side and doesn't mind dressing up for some fun. This is one those moments when, in 2018, she was donning a rather orange wig for a murder mystery event.

A 26 year old fashion blogger from Essex. She had already made her mark on the social network before she joined the Love Island cast. Her Instagram has nearly 270k followers

Kaz has a well-known sister as well. Her sister Banji is a fashion influencer who posts 'outfit inspiration photos' and has an incredible 21,000 followers on Instagram.

Jake Cornish: A 24 year old chap from Weston-Super-Mare who has recently come out of a long term relationship. It all ended for him and his ex when lockdown hit, then spent a lonely isolation which only spurred him on further to take part in the show.

Jake loves a party, you only need to scroll through his Instagram account to see that. But you do get a couple of gems, too, such as him painting his niece's nails, hugging Wayne Rooney and just generally doing that teenager thing.

Hugo is from Hampshire and is a PE teacher. If that's not enough for the girls, he's got a golden smile, too. He is another Islander who's previous relationship didn't pass the lockdown. “Lockdown and distance – put those two together and that’s a combination that wrecks relationships.”

Huge used to play cricket for England PD (Physical Disability). When talking about his disability, he said, “I had lots of operations when I was a kid. You can only really tell when I walk barefoot. I’ve got a really short achilles heel. I walk slightly on my tip toes.”

21 year old Liberty form Birmingham is a marketing student and works as a waitress who is in the show to have some fun - not only with the boys but the girls, too! "I’m excited, I’m a bit of a social butterfly so I love to meet new people. I’m a girls’ girl as well so I can’t wait for the girly friendships. It’s going to be fun!"

Liberty seems to have toned down the makeup and the hair colour from her previous Instagram shots. A much blonder (and frizzier) Liberty awaits on the social network as you flick through years of hair extensions, eyelashes and glamour.

Aaron Francis is a luxury events host from London. His main trouble in finding relationships recently has been that everyone has been wearing masks and he can't see anyone. Well, now his eyes are wide open.

Aaron has worked on some pretty famous weddings - even royal. He is very relaxed about celebrities which could bode him well with the aftermath of the show. He said, "In my job you meet a lot of famous people… unless you’re Beyoncé, I’m not really interested.” He is another islander who previously got happy with a tub of bleach and went platinum before going back to his more natural look.

Oxford-based civil servant Sharon has had a tough year. She has been working on Brexit and also helping in the department of health where needed, too, delivering testing kits. “I’ve been a civil servant since I was 18. I’ve worked in lots of different departments. I’ve been doing Brexit policy for the last year."

She was in pageants with 2019 contestant, Molly-Mae: “I used to do pageants. Molly-Mae and I had the same pageant director.”

Brad McClelland is a man from Northumberland looking for love, sparks and socialising. “The socialising side of it [appeals] – meeting new people. And that’s not just meeting the lasses, meeting everyone.” He seems to have found good company at home, however and lives with his 76-year-old Nana Joyce.

He's a family man who likes working out. There are a few interesting before and after shots to peruse through on his Instagram account. But we love this one of him out with the lads as a young sprout.

Chuggs Wallis isn't his real name, believe it or not. Oliver George Lee Wallis owns his own customised hats business called Booby Buckets and also does his fair share for charity.

Chuggs is a really sporty guy, playing a number of different sports and getting his hands dirty with the lads. In fact, he is envious of his friend's girlfriend who joins in the fun with the boys, “I need someone to be my best mate. I need someone who is going to muck in with my brothers, my family. I’ve got a mate who has a girlfriend, she plays rugby, golf.. everything with us. She’s great, she gets involved. I want something like that.”

A model from Fife, Shannon has an incredible 415k followers on Instagram. This gorgeous Scottish beauty came from glamour modelling, a career she started when she was just 18 years old, but she has no regrets.

And yet there are some gems hidden amongst her social media content. dotted throughout the shots that under-18s should be cautious about, she has a soft side that occasionally appears which shows her natural beauty.
