More than 'Friends'

They've always said it: the six main characters of 'Friends' were very close in real life. Not to the point of being together every day, but they did maintain their friendships long after they started filming in 1994. (Yes, in 1994!)

Longing for his 'brother'

Especially close were Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc. They were like brothers who loved and supported each other. Unsurprisingly, the death of the former has left Matt LeBlanc devastated.

One year later

Sadly, the actor seems unable to get over the loss of his friend. One year after the death of Chandler's alter ego (he died on October 28, 2023), Matt LeBlanc remains absent and taciturn.

Worn out and dull

TMZ recently published some photos of the actor looking visibly worn out and dismayed. In response, thousands of fans expressed their concern about the actor's current condition.

Not socializing at all

Matt LeBlanc has spent months without a single public appearance or sign of life. To this, a source close to the actor has added some worrying comments in a chat with 'In Touch'.

"Distant and isolated"

According to the source, the man who played Joey for 10 seasons has been increasingly "distant and isolated."

Hard to get out of the house

They say that the people around him try to help the actor, suggesting plans for getting out of the house, but Matt LeBlanc shows no "real interest in socializing and is focused on his own affairs".

His 'Friends' try to help him, but...

Among that group of people are his colleagues and friends Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, and David Schwimmer. They "just want him to fit in again and smile like before."

His last post

Beside the photos and revelations, people find Matt LeBlanc's silence on social media also concerning. His last post on Instagram was, in fact, his farewell to Matthew Perry. He placed it on November 14, 2024, more than two weeks after Perry's death.

Putting it in perspective

We do have to add to that last point that Matt LeBlanc never was an avid Instagram user in the first place. In the past three years, he has only made three posts. So his Instagram use should be the least of Matt LeBlanc's worries.
