King Charles III seems more keen than ever to resume his public commitments
After several weeks of absence and persistent rumors about his state of health (which is said to have worsened), King Charles III resurfaced. Buckingham Palace announced on Friday, April 26 that he would gradually resume his public duties.
The king, accompanied by Camilla, visited a London hospital. According to the Daily Mail, when asked about his health, he simply replied: "I'm all right, thanks. Not too bad."

For his first public reappearance, Charles III chose to visit the Macmillan Cancer Center at University College Hospital in London. Knowing that the monarch himself suffers from cancer, this choice was not surprising.
What is his health status? Is he well or, as some reports suggest, has his condition worsened? Judging by the photos from Tuesday, April 30, Charles III appears to be doing well, with no visible signs of illness.
There are no details about the cancer that Carlos III suffers from, even though it was discovered during prostate surgery. The palace has not specified what type of cancer it is, nor the evolution or stage of the disease. So it's easy to let rumors run wild.
The monarch was seen at Easter Sunday mass on March 31. Since then, almost a month of absence has passed, causing general concern.
Media outlets such as Page Six and The Daily Beast have reported that plans for Charles III's funeral have been updated to prepare for an imminent death of the king.
The Daily Beast quotes an alleged acquaintance of Charles III as saying, regarding the king's illness, that it felt like things were "not going well."
Tom Skyes wrote in the Daily Beast: "Speaking to friends of the king in recent weeks about his health, the most common response is a lowering of the voice by half an octave or so, followed by the somber, drawn-out pronouncement: "It’s not good."
However, Charles III resumed his activity on Tuesday, April 30, and here are the images which show that he is still in full physical health. At least that's the image he gives.
Indeed, Charles III wanted to display his smile and joviality in front of the press, the hospital professionals, and the patients with whom he spoke.
A sick monarch, the Princess of Wales also suffering from cancer, and Prince Harry and his wife outside the royal household: this is the difficult scenario in which the British royal family is operating.
