Sofia Vergara confirmed their relationship on her Instagram account. She appeared to be recovering from a knee surgery.

On a personal note, the surgeon has been divorced since 2018, having been married for 10 years to actress Bree Turner, with whom he had two children, Stella Jean (13) and Dean (11), People said.
