Louisa Jacobson Gummer is the youngest daughter of the amazing Meryl Streep and the American sculptor Don Gummer. She is also an actress. In fact, we can see her in HBO's 'The Gilded Age'. Born on June 12, 1991 (she's a Gemini!), Louisa followed in her mother's footsteps by studying acting. Here, she's with her mom and dad, who have since split up. In Hollywood, she uses the surname Jacobson, which is her middle name, because there is another actress called Louisa Gummer.

Her sisters, Mamie Gummer and Grace Gummer, are also actresses. The latter starred with her mother in the successful film 'The House of the Spirits'. Hey also have a brother, Henry, who is a musician.

'The Gilded Age' is a television series with a total of 10 episodes. A second season has been confirmed, to the delight of fans around the world.
It tells the story of Marian Brook (Louisa Jacobson Gummer), the orphaned daughter of a southern general, who moves to New York at the end of the 19th century. She ends up at the house of two aunts, played by Christine Baranski and Cynthia Nixon; respectively, Leonard's mother in 'The Big Bang Theory' and Miranda from 'Sex & The City'.

Throughout the first season, Marian is accompanied by the mysterious Peggy Scott. Both young women are forced to navigate the class system and conflicts between old and new money.
In addition to the aforementioned Christine Baranski and Cynthia Nixon, we can enjoy the performances of Carrie Coon, Morgan Spector, Taissa Farmiga, Harry Richardson, Nathan Lane and Blake Ritson.
Considering that this was Louisa's first lead role, it is impressive that it's in a huge HBO production. Not to undermine her talent, but her status as a nepo baby probably didn't hurt.
