Her concert in Munich would have been the last of the tour. However, as she had to reschedule some dates of her Las Vegas residency due to illness, she still had ten more concerts left before her long-awaited break, E! News calculated.

According to the E! News report, Adele's personal life seems to be one of the main reasons for her temporary retirement. The British singer said she had spent the last few years building a new life and she now wants to fully enjoy it.

Part of the new chapter she is experiencing has to do with sports agent Rich Paul. According to E! News, the singer confirmed her engagement to Paul on August 9 during one of her concerts. The couple has been in a relationship since 2021.

The singer also spoke openly about her desire to expand her family. Adele is the mother of 11-year-old Angelo from her relationship with ex-husband Simon Konecki.

"I definitely would like a couple more kids. It would be wonderful if we can," she said in an interview with BBC Radio. "If not, I've got Angelo. I just want to be happy."

The Munich concert, meant to be the last of her tour, was a special one for Adele. It took place in an arena with a capacity of 80,000 people, created exclusively for her, according to Pitchfork.

After her fourth album, '30', released in 2021, Adele gave almost three years of uninterrupted performances. Her break from the stage truly marks the end of an era for the singer and her fans.
