Adam Levine probably wants to forget this old slip-up... but did you?

For many years, Adam Levine was considered one of the most desired men on the planet, as well as one of the great seducers in LA and a the lead singer in one of the biggest bands in the world.

The Maroon 5 singer enjoyed a decade of fame, debauchery and parties but everything changed in May 2012 when he met model Behati Prinsloo.

The attraction was immediate and, just two years later, they got married in Mexico, sharing their love through events, presentations and social networks. They were the perfect couple.

And that perfect couple went on to become the perfect family with the births of Dusty Rose (2016), Gio Grace (2018) and a boy who was born in January 2023.

But it was in the midst of the pregnancy of the couple's third child when controversy broke out. Sumner Stroh, a well-known adult influencer, shared information that was about to destroy the couple's perfect world.

Sumner Stroh shared a video on TikTok in which she showed  racy conversations she had had with Adam Levine, trying to show the world that the singer had been unfaithful to his wife with her.

"At that time I was young, naive and, frankly, I felt exploited. I wasn't in the world like I am now, so I was very easy to manipulate," she said in the video.

Not only that, the influencer claimed to have had a relationship with Adam Levine for more than a year, even when Behati Prinsloo was already pregnant with her third child.

The video, published in September 2022, has more than 26 million views and was one of the most viral of the year, for obvious reasons.

So much so, that Adam Levine was forced to release a statement, through his social networks, to deny the allegations by Sumner Stroh, although he did confirm that he had "crossed the line."

"There are a lot of things being said about me and I want to clarify some. I used my bad judgment when flirting with someone other than my wife. I didn't have an affair but I did cross the line during an unfortunate period of my life," the singer said on Instagram.

"In some cases it became inappropriate. I have addressed it and taken proactive steps to remedy it with my family," the statement continued.

"My wife and my family are the only things that matter to me in this world. I will never do it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will do it together," he concluded. And yes, it seems that they have overcome it.

A source close to the family told 'People' that Behati Prinsloo was very upset but "100% committed to her family" and that the couple was focused on being "the best parents possible."

Time has healed a wound that threatened to break one of the most united families in Hollywood. The problem is that time has also helped the world forget a scandalous moment in the family's life.

The reason why Sumner Stroh made her conversations with Adam Levine public, was because an alleged friend was going to make them public anyway and she preferred to go ahead and spoil the exclusive. With friends like that, who needs enemies?

Perhaps the most serious thing about the whole issue was the comment over the baby's name. "I'm having another baby, and if it's a boy, I want him to be named Sumner. Would you mind? This is very serious." This was part of the conversations shared by the influencer on TikTok.

It's true that Sumner is an original and very cool name but, perhaps, it was not the best name to give to his third child who, by the way, is a little one whose name has not yet been revealed.
