Hacked celebrities: intimate photos leaked to the public

In September 2014, Ryan Collins was able to hack 50 iCloud accounts and 70 Gmail accounts that belonged to many Hollywood celebrities. He stole intimate photos and published them for all the world to see.

The hacker was sentenced to 6 years in prison, but unfortunately, the photos are still circulating. These celebrities suffered from the attack known as 'The Fa pp en ing'.

Scarlett Johansson was attacked on two occasions, in 2011 and 2017. Both times, the actress appeared without clothes, sending a kiss to the camera. She later told the press that the whole thing was "devastating" to her.

Before the hacking scandal, JLo was already one of the most-searched women on the internet. After some pictures of the singer without clothes were released, the searches increased astronomically.

Selena Gomez was another victim of the hack. She was both among the first revelation of pictured celebs and among the second. Even worse, she was not alone in the pics.

In the first stolen photos, she was entirely without clothes but you couldn't see her face. Yet, the Internet quickly demonstrated that the pictures belonged to her.

The second time she was hacked, Selena Gomez saw how someone logged into her Instagram account (one of the most followed accounts in the world) and published some photos of Justin Bieber, her then-boyfriend, full Monty.

Kendall Jenner is another celebrity that was hacked in the incident. The leaked photos of the model without clothes were trending globally.

The stolen pictures were part of a modeling photoshoot with the photographer James Russell. Kendall was riding a horse on the beach with no clothes on.

Among the most damaged celebrities was Jennifer Lawrence. Not only did she have dozens of pics stolen but there were also videos in which she and her partner at the time, Nicholas Hoult, appeared together.

The actress never denied she was the one in the stolen material and said she felt ashamed and attacked. She spent several weeks without leaving her house and did anything she could to send the hacker to jail.

The model is used to sharing images of her skin on Instagram, but the leaked photos of her went beyond that.

It was clear that Emily Ratajkowski's photos were taken for a private audience and were never supposed to spread across the internet.

Kim Kardashian's first scandal was a leaked video of her and her then-boyfriend, the rapper Ray J being. The famous video was said to be leaked by her own mother, although there is no actual proof of that.

Then, years later, after she posted a photo of herself without a top on Instagram, blocking the private parts with a black bar, someone decided to hack her account and post the photo without any censorship.

Kate Upton really struggled with the matter of the hacking scandal. Her pictures were some of the most searched ones and they also featured her husband, Justin Verlander.

In the second batch of the hacking scandal, a video of Kate Upton and her partner emerged with more explicit content from the couple.

In the intimate photos, Blake Lively was hard to recognize and most of her body was covered. Still, the violation of privacy was unquestionable. The actress was really affected by the leak.

Lucky for her, the hacker only had a picture of the actress without a top. Winona Ryder has never spoken on the matter.

Some of the most famous leaked photos were the ones of the singer Rihanna. Somebody took some pictures of her while she was doing a dress fitting.

People who knew her said that Rihanna was really hurt, ashamed, and angry about the stolen pics.

Vanessa Hudgens' accounts were also hacked. Her pictures were very explicit and the singer/actress admitted it was her.

Hudgens said she couldn't figure out how those photos got to the internet. Later, it was discovered that the hacker got them through her iCloud account.

Kaley Cuoco was one of the most visited profiles of the hacking scandal, simply because the actress had a lot of photos stolen.

In all of them, we could see 'The Big Bang Theory' actress without clothes and in provocative poses. The actress later said it was a very difficult time for her.

Being a very private celebrity, Avril Lavigne saw her intimacy compromised in September 2014.

The singer was pictured alone in front of a mirror with her mobile in her hand, taking a casual selfie without clothes.

Kirsten Dunst was horrified about the leak of her intimate pictures. She had them stored on her iCloud account.

Kirsten Dunst did not deny her identity in the photos, and she directly blamed Apple for the incident. On the same day the photos were released, the actress tweeted: "Thank you iCloud," next to a pizza and a p oo p emoji.

Amanda Seyfried was another celebrity who appeared with someone else in the photos. In 2017, a hacker stole and shared photos of her and her partner in a very intimate situation.

Not one, not two, not three… but more than 50 photos were stolen from Amber Heard's iCloud. All of them were very explicit and intimate.

At the time, Amber Heard was in a relationship with Johnny Depp to whom she had sent many of said pictures.

Anne Hathaway had the misfortune of appearing with her husband Adam Shulman in some of the photos that were stolen from her.

Rosario Dawson threatened to sue anyone who shared her pictures. It was all for nothing. The photos of her, only wearing a cat woman mask, were all over the internet.
